"All meals were overcooked; hamburgers, veal, etc. Since we were a group of six or more and the gratuity was fixed at 20% it appeared the server(s) were not motivated to check in on our meals or progress."

"special "clams and ---" menu was fun and creative, but unfortunately not very good. Prime rib was grey and bland and the lobster without taste. Would go again for the entertainment value and ambiance, but order from the the sandwich or casual menu choices."

"We had a great time. The food was very good and the service was great.Our drinks were wonderful. The waiter was excellent. The women that placed our bets was terrific. She was a great help to us.

Several different people would check to be sure that we were doing ok. Kept our water glasses filled the whole evening.

It was very relaxing. No one rushed us.

We had a wonderful time.

"The wait staff was wonderful! However, the lady manager on duty at the time (Saturday, March 17, 6:30 pm) needs additional customer service training. We made our reservations online for a party of 8 to celebrate a milestone birthday with family. When we arrived, half of our party was seated at one table and the other half of our party wasa seated at a separate table. We asked why and the manager came to explain. She stated that "we were told when we placed our reservation that they could not seat us together." I told her that we were not told this and she looked annoyed and irritated with us. I mentioned that we placed it online and she responded "well, that's why you don't know." She walked away rolling her eyes."

"The desserts were good. We wish we were had been given compliementary horse racing magazines or forms. It was a little pricey for what the food was; we did expect that, though. We had a really good time. We generally come up once a year or so to watch the races and have dinner. I'm thinking of coming again soon with another group."
