Mosaic - Hyatt Regency VancouverGreat service and food! This was my first time back at Mosaic since it was renovated and I must say, I'm not sure what changed (restaurant space loooks the same), but the food was creatively put together and service was the best that I've had in a while. Our server, Irena, was very attentive and was genuinely interacting with restaurant guests. The food was perfectly cooked and the dessert was very well executed - do not miss out on the chocolate cake! Note that if it says "mini chocolate cake", it is not mini at all. Will be back very soon!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent serviceTook my colleague for a birthday lunch and was seated at a lovely table with a view of Burrard Street and the water peeking in the background. Had the salmon on focaccia with garlic fries which was delicious. What surprised me was our waiter, Michael brought out a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to my colleague. He said that he couldn't find a smaller piece, so ended up serving an entire cake instead. Very nice touch.
I would expect a pricey outing, this restaurant being located upstairs of the Hyatt Hotel, but all the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Mosaic and will definitely return.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic! "Art of Taste"Fantastic! "Art of Taste" package from Vaneats was amazing, delicious food. The chef even prepared for us one of their monthly specials ... that was a bonus! I don't really like beets but the beet sorbet was something else. Yummy in my tummy. The desert portion was huge.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI generally meet old workI generally meet old work pals for lunch here as it is quiet, the service is great, and we don't get interrupted by the wait staff when we are trying to catch up with each other's news.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
