"Food was average at best. And the coconut cake left a lot to be desired. The drinks were good and sitting outside on a Spring night was great. Our waitress probably shouldnt be in the service industry. I wouldn't drive across town for it but if I were in the neighborhood I would give it another chance."

"We try Mosaic now and then. The food is always very good--fresh, tasty, large portions, reasonable prices. The ambiance and staff tend to be uneven, though. This past Friday, everything was in top shape. We had a super server and the crowd was energetic. I'm not sure I've ever had a bad meal here but we go out for more than just the food. If Mosaic keeps this up, we could become regulars."

"We are so enamored with Mosiac that we head there most every Sunday after church. The menu variety is great, the service is tops, and the staff is very customer oriented. Great place for lunch in a relaxed environment."

"We thought the ambiance was nice. We had a very long wait once we ordered our meals. My family of four all felt that the food was mediocre at best. The food was not hot, my daughters eggs benedict the whites were runny, the French was absolutely nothing special. Overall not a place we would return."

"Mosaic has been a favorite of mine since I moved to Richmond 11 years ago. It has come quite a long way since it first opened, and I have been there to celebrate a variety of occasions: birthdays, girls' night, Valentine's, brunch, and just recently I brought my family there for Easter - they were in town for the weekend, from New York, and they absolutely loved the whole experiences. The food is always top notch, and the ambiance is always just right."
