The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. The staff was amazing. So delightful. Order your Godiva cake pre-dining so it can be prepared. I normally prefer a well done steak but at Morton's they take the time to do it right so I can confidently go medium - rib eye can never go wrong & of you're feeling ambitious, porterhouse for 2. I recommend their salad selections as well as their Salmon dish. When the waiter heard this, he came by and touch a picture of our table to give to us at the end of the night. it was a very special touch. Nice that they also had a special upgrade menu if you wanted a little more food since the portions were a little small for the regular restaurant week menu but certainly enough since regular portions are usually oversized. It was a Friday nite so all tables were full. When someone came over right after entrees were finished to clear crumbs off table my friend mentioned that she was feeling a little like they were rushing us out to clear a table but he was very sweet and said we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted and offered us a complimentary drink. Thanks Sean -- I think he was manager and he was very sweet!! The steak had a great flavor and was very juicy. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The general manager Sean Radlein was very attentive and made sure that my experience lived up to the Morton's name. The food was delicious! It was definitely more crowded because our anniversary fell during restaurant week. However the staff seemed to be able to manage the numbers. The music was louder than normal but it wasn't overwhelming or disturbing. There was a little delay with our entrees but we were treated so kindly and with such respect that we didn't care. Our entrees did take a while to come out but our waiter was so polite and the manager was so nice that it did not matter. Agian, I honestly must say the service is fantastic, and the food isn't too bad either. (it was awesome)! But the fact that me and my friend are both in our mid 20's and were there just for the restaurant week deals and we got the service and RESPECT we got makes me love Morton's. It was my daughter's birthday and I love that they took a photo of the table and made a big fuss about her. Food also never disappoints. Your typical steak-house menu but done well. A great chopped salad. Only negative was the entrance jam. There were only 3 parties waiting at the check-in desk but we had to wait 5-10 minutes. First there was no one there. Then, when the hostess came, she seemed flustered. When it was finally our turn, she answered the restaurant phone(!) first. It's a minor complaint but chain or no, this is an expensive restaurant.
