  • "It was exactly what I had expected. Therefore expectations were fulfilled. The ambiance was very romantic and comfortable at the same time. The food was so delicious that our conversation ended until when finished the meal. The beef was tender and flavorful. The nice thing about the steakhouse was the waiters way of presenting the different cuts of beef to help you decide on the one you preferred. The bar drink was so refreshing and it complemented the meal. I will return again for that special event."

  • "When travelling we always seek out Morton's as the food us usually amazing, service exemplary and we can count on a repeatedly good meal. I have to say though at this particular Mortons I was disappointed in the steak. Usually it melts in your mouth and is a taste experience. We always walk away saying that we don't know what they do to make the meat taste that way but it's the best we've ever had and it keeps us coming back. The steak we had was okay here but nothing special; quite disappointing. Everything else was great as usual."

  • "Unprofessional service, over priced steaks, cheesy decor. The waiter scratched his belly inside his shirt while taking our order. We ordered two 8oz filets, both to be cooked medium (pink inside) one came out very well done, and the other one was rare. We told waiter steaks weren't cooked as requested, and he said oh ok, and walked away, did nothing to make it better. The meat was a poor quality, clearly not aged. The tab for 2 steaks, 1 baked potato, 1 creamed spinach, 2 glasses of wine= $200.00! Not worth it, there are plenty of excellent steak houses in Chicago that serve outstanding aged steaks for that price or less."

  • "Nice place for business dinner. Regarding food, A very delicious bread was served at the beginning, they have also a nice wine list, and variability of steaks. I ordered delicious ribeye steak, though meat had a nice quolity one third surface of my steak was burned. Eating coal with your steak can ruin even the best meat. Besides service was always there and atmosphere was very nice. A bit expensive, but for one time worth trying."

The onion bread was fresh from the oven and a treat. The pricing was reasonable given the quality, service and amosphere. I plan to bring other clients to lunch there soon."

  • "The ambiance for this restaurant was average with the waiting area in the Bar bringing down the score. The lady behind the bar needed help bc it took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and then another 10 minutes to place our drink order. The restaurant is dark and could use a face lift......it feels like a wide corridor of tables that run into the bar and the kitchen at the other end. The steaks were great but Lobster Bisque brought down the score bc it was too watery and had only just one chunk of lobster. Overall it was a "good" experience but I wouldn't go out of my way to try here again."

  • "Morton's has gone downhill since they we're purchased by Landry's. The steak was average but over cooked. Service was pretty good, ythe waiter was a nice guy. A few times he was "too chatty" and would interrupt us in mid conversation. He needed to work being a little less seen and heard. He was a real nice guy though. The wine sommelier was not very well versed in the wine list and seemed to only know "oak flavor", "woodsy", "cherry jam" to describe each red but the problem was she used it on every description. Overall, the food and ambience was way over priced for this restaurant and seems to be the new normal for this chain which means I've probably ate there for the last time. "

The meat was honestly good, the appartizers not at all: jumbo shrimps totally flavorless and the (also flavorless) 20 dollars crabmeat cocktail was ridiculous: a couple of pieces of crab with some green salad. No sauces, no condiments...nothing. Service slow. I don't recommend it (just go to Joe's, Shawn's, smith&wollesky or Gibson. The prices are similar, but the overall experience much much much better"

  • "We had a great time, the food and drinks was delicious, the service was great and the manager turned on big screen television in the room for the guys to watch the game. We took lots of pictures and Morton's took complimentary a picture of the bride & groom. Very beautiful place to have dinner with friends or just you and your honey. Will definitely visit again or Morton's is highly recommended for whatever you need."
