  • "It was our first time at Morton's The Steakhouse for our anniversary. Workers greeted us with a genuine smile and wished us a happy anniversary. Food was delicious! Customer service was excellent. Best steak he ever tasted. I got lamb, and I'm big on flavors. Our waiter made a suggestion of adding cajun to have more of a burst of flavor to my taste buds. That was a great idea because it was the best lamb I've tasted. They decorated the plate for our anniversary when we ordered crème brûlée. There was strawberry that was cut into a shape like a rose. It was pretty. The food was pricey, but taste was so worth it. I highly recommend this place because I will definitely come back again!"

  • "I'm pretty sure most people are familiar with the chain so they know what to expect in terms of prices. Yes, it's pricey, but they have great food and a great wine list with some rare wines. Only one note is that it took about 20 minutes to get our first drink and for someone to take an appetizer order, but after that, everything was timed perfectly."

  • "We received a gift card to celebrate our anniversary. We'd never been to this restaurant before. Upon placing our order, we kept seeing plates of bread being taken to other tables. We had a plate of butter on our table, but no bread. Our server was nowhere to be seen, so we actually asked another server why we had butter on our table. Were we supposed to have bread, too? He said, "Oh, yes, I'm sorry about that! I'll see that you get some right away." And it was brought quickly to our table after that. Also, our steaks were both prepared far more rare than requested. We felt that the food was good, but unfortunately our experience overall didn't quite meet our expectations."

  • "Excellent service, although it was not very crowded. Our steaks were cooked precisely as we requested (med well and well-done). I didn't think my cajun ribeye was as spicy as I'd expected it to be. The portions were HUGE, so be careful what you order. My Morton's Legendary Sundae was enough for 3 people - I think I ate less than 1/2 of it, I was so full. The maitre d' (Jeff) took a photo of myself and my mom, who was celebrating her birthday, and gave each of us a copy in a special folder halfway through our meal. That, plus the custom dinner menus with her name at the top were a nice touch to our visit. Thanks to Jeff, Laura (our server) and everyone at Morton's for helping to make Mom's evening a truly special event."

  • "My steak was cooked exactly how I asked and the Chilean sea bass was very tasty, I just wish the chef put as much effort in the side dishes. I'm a huge cream spinach lover and have eaten it al over the county and always found it satisfying, but yet I couldn't choke down Morton's cream spinach It was bland and tasted like something you'd pull off the plant and stick in your mouth, dirt and all. Huge disappointment. The lyonaise potatoes was a mixture of dry and greasy. The potatoes themselves were room temperature and dry, but the onions cooked with them were really greasy. Truly bizarre."

While my husband's entire meal was perfect, steak cooked at a perfect medium and the lobster melted in your mouth, my steak however, had to be sent back 3 times! I was so over it by the last time, I just accepted it. In their defense, the manager did take the steak off the bill. Other than that, everything was good. I'll still go back again, I accept that it was a fluke. Again, the hubby's meal was AMAZING."

The staff was polite, but uninformed on the menu and the wine list. The decore needed to be upddated 20yrs ago. At this price point, the food was average at best. In a city with many other options, I found my experienc at Morton's St. Louis to be suprisingly lackluster."

Our vegetable (broccoli) which we had requested cooked well done arrived crunchy and had to be sent back. It did not arrive back at our table until we were almost done with dinner. Our steak and lobster were served luke warm."

  • "We had a nice dinner at Morton's and I'm glad I finally made it there. The onion soup was exceptional and I would definitely order it again. My husband's lobster bisque was good but had an odd finish. My husband's rib eye was excellent and cooked perfectly. I ordered the filet mixed grill and wish I had just ordered a larger filet. The filet was wonderful but the grilled shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops were somewhat bland and not quite warm enough. (Pre-cooked?) Another high note were the Lyonnaise Potatoes...you must try them! The cocktail and wine lists are extensive. Great options for everyone. Our server did a fantastic job. We will definitely go back but I'll stay away from the seafood options. Steak only!"

The steaks were cooked to our liking, the sharing dishes, potatoes au graten and broccoli were more than enough and were declicious. The service excellent, great experience!"

Service was excruciatingly slow (2 hours with no dessert), and many dishes were not hot enough. The ribeye was tough for the first time in my memory. At $100 plus per person with limited alcohol, I expect better."

  • "I've been to Morton's at this location and Chicago before, but this Clayton, MO spot gave me one of the 3 best steaks of my long life...only Keefer's in Chicago and Peter Lugar's in NY can compare. Salads, sides, service and wine list were top notch, as well."
