  • "we split a chopped salad the rib eye and filet mignon were done well very nice restaurant but more steakhouses to visit"

  • "Dependable, good and expensive = predictable special occasion place. Morton's has been a favorite in virtually every major city I have visited, and Boston's was very good. I miss some of the Morton's touches since they were bought up - the entre' cart, the rather rushed service that attends corporate profitability focus. Still, great food, good service and well worth the visit!"

  • "I was disappointed the last time we went to Morton's. It is not the same place since it changed hands. The presentation of the food and the food itself is not the same quality it used to be. Don't get me wrong, it's still good though and I'd go back. For example, the tuna tower, filet oscar, and hash browns are completely different and that used to be my #1 restaurant and favorite meal ever."

  • "Mortons has lost a step. Expect to have a good/ordinary experience and be overcharged for it. The steaks were good. The host was fantastic. The service was OK. Our experience was nothing exceptional however. The place is set up for maximum number of diners. The atmosphere is not one of comfort or relaxation. It resembles a large cafeteria with white tablecloths. Very difficult to have a conversation as it was so loud. Gone are the days of an exceptional dining experience where you feel special. Gone are the days of the cart rolled to your table for selecting your steak. Mortons has gone from preparing special meals in a special environment to mass production of steaks to feed as many people as possible. I was disappointed."

  • "The staff was friendly, and extremely attentive to all of our needs. We were celebrating a friends engagement and they could not have been more helpful or welcoming to us."
    Dined on 3/27/2014
  • "A normally expensive restaurant becomes affordable with the restaurant week menu. Smaller portions were the obvious reasons for this but with three courses there's complaint about not enough food. Excellent wine list and great staff."
    Dined on 3/27/2014
  • "But dinner was super rushed. If I'm paying that kind of money for a glass of wine or a steak, I would like to be able to enjoy it. I would barely finish a salad and someone was there immediately to put my meal in front of me. There was no lingering or savoring. They wanted you in and out as quickly as possible. That's ok at say, Chilis, but it's not ok when you're spending a couple hundred dollars on dinner for 2."

  • "The Restaurant is a wonderful place to go for date night. It is an energetic atmosphere and the food is prepared perfectly. We will definitely be back."

  • "Levi was a great waiter. We had a delicious lunch and my party of three were all very satisfied."

  • "The food was exceptional! Our waitress, Liz, May very well have been the best waiter/waitress I've EVER had! One of us required a gluten-free menu and Liz knew exactly how everything was prepared and cooked. She could not have been more knowledgable and helpful. The food was cooked perfectly and very well presented. In case you don't know, this restaraunt is quite pricey, so be prepared to spend about one hundred per person with drinks and dessert."

  • "Very disappointed. Morton's used to be our favorite restaurant, but not any more. We went on Sunday during restaurant week, and thought we'd take our two teenage children. The meal cost us over $200 during restaurant week, and we were all hungry when we walked out. Valet is $16 ($20 with tip), which you need to use since there is no place to park. The filet we got looked like a steak tip. I got mine medium, and it was burned. The chocolate moose was in a tiny, tiny glass. The Caesar salad had no croutons and the dressing was awful. So sad that they take a great opportunity to impress and give you these ridiculously small portions."

  • "Liked everything about it. Great corner table but a little chilly near the glass doors Would suggest butter knives for the butter. Steak knife was cumbersome Entire staff was professional and friendly"

  • "$25 per person for seafood platter (5 people) was 5 oysters, 5 shrimp and one lobster tail split in half. What a joke. Available at all other steak houses 3x the size for that price. Steaks were not high quality. Much better at Smith and Wollensky, Del Friscos, Grille 23, Capital Grille, Abe and Louies. Better luck going to the bar for steak sandwich."

  • "It was restaurant week, we were not offered the special menu until we asked. The server was extremely polite and nice but the service was extremely slow. The server new we worked in the building and should have realized we were on our lunch hour. The burger which was supposed to be medium was rare. The ceasar salad was very good. The cheesecake dessert was passable, nothing to write home about. I was very surprised."

  • "We made reservations for lunch with a Customer. Upon arriving we were greated and lead to our table. The waiter arrived and had someone with him to start the service. The server stared pouring water for the table and instead of being careful, water was splashing all over the silverware and table. Once the food was delivered they came back around and filled the glasses again splashing water on the food and table this time. The food itself was just average as the steaks were over cooked and our waiter had disappeared once the food was delivered. Needless to say we were not pleased with the level of service or the food and would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "We arrived early for our reservation and still were promply seated. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. The Tuna tower app was excellent as were the Ribeye steaks. All were cooked as requested. The timing of everything went well also. We didn't feel rushed but didn't wait long between courses. It was a very pleasurable evening out."

  • "Celebrated my youngest child's entry to the teen years. Staff (Hostess, Coat check, Photographer) were extremely friendly, Frank our waiter was also very funny, engaging, very knowledgeable. The restaurant even provided personalized souvenir menu's with my son's name on it. Food was terrific, expensive, but memorable night."

  • "Went with a group of 8 on 3/1/14. We had all been there before many times and always had good experiences. It was obviously a very busy night as the place was packed. I'm not sure if they were preparing the food in mass quantities ahead of time but many in our group commented that their food was luke warm at best. I know my wife's scallops looked as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. It was all still pretty good but when you are shelling out $300 per couple you kind of expect everything to be cooked to order and delivered hot."

  • "I've been to a number of Morton's as well as other notable Steak Houses from around the country. Morton's are always consistent with the food, service and presentation. I made a reservation for 4 and our table was ready on time and we were greeted by the manager who sat us at our table and came back several times during and afterwards to make sure everything was to are liking. The steaks and sides were outstanding and everyone had went away very satisfied by the experience."

  • "I can't say enough about how good the food was here. The wine list can be intimidating but you can't really go wrong with anything. The service was a bit confusing as we had 3 different waiters try to take our order. Eventually they figured it out and we had 1 server. Would go back anytime."

  • "Very loud restaurant with odd music. Our service was extremely slow and inattentive. Wine was long gone before meal arrived but were never offered another drink. Our reason to be there- our celebration- was a nonevent for Morton's. We won't be back."

  • "Brought our daughter to a special lunch during vacation week after running around the city. We were greeted by the friendly host. Our original wait person seemed to immediately pawn us off on someone else after taking our drink order. She was inattentive and seemed harried despite the fact that , at lunch time, there may have been 5 occupied tables. It worked out well as the fill-in gentleman was gracious and helpful. He knew the menu well and answered our questions with ease. Our opinion of the food was mixed. Not all of it was great. My husband's steak was "just okay". My seafood was overcooked and bland. The appetizers were fantastic. especially the Ahi tuna tower. The home made chips were delicious. For the price, I would not return."

  • "Each time we go to Mortons the food seems to go down hill. My husband got the prime rib. Ordered medium rare got rare. Should. Have sent it back to be cooked more but didnt want to bother. I got baked stuffed shrimp. I think 5 or 6 shrimp. I'd say medium size? I don't know just seems the food isn't as good as five years ago."

  • "Upon arriving in a snow storm, we were greeted at the door by a gentleman with a broad smile and a friendly hello. The valet was also there and was equally as friendly. We were promptly seated in a very nice both in the dinning room, which was empty due to the storm. We had an outstanding server, Dannelle, who was on top of her game. As the night progressed other people arrived but it was certainly not crowded. That said. The food, service and atmosphere all were outstanding. Morton's is without question a place you would want to go. With all this said, the price tag is as elegant as the place. But well worth it."

  • "I would have enjoyed the excellent center cut ribeye much more if the noise level had allowed this. The restaurant was packed, and not with people who know they are not alone. In addition the waiters did there best, but they were simply understaffed, and this always creates a tense atmosphere. To top things off, the bill was incredible. I had a lobster cocktail, cream spinach with the steak, three or four glasses of wine and a bottle of water. For this I was charged 150 USD, excluding tips. I have been to other steak chains, and I really must say that next time I most probably will choose one of the others."

  • "waited 1/2 an hour to be seated, w/ a reservation. Hot & cold seafood apps. very small portion and too $$$. My bone in filet was more bone than filet. Oh! what was with the huge bulb of garlic on my plate???? I must say we left hungry, good thing Chinatown was down the street."

  • "Bar was extremely busy. There was a vibrant atmosphere with excellent food throughout; appetizers, entrees & dessert. Was a little disappointed in the cocktails ordered as they were the only items that did not meet expectations."

  • "Overall disappointed, I used to frequent the old site for business, now it is relegated to overpriced beef and un-imaginative sides ... literally steamed broccoli and a nice steak … I can do better on my own grill and stovetop. Not impressed any more, it is a shame; I really looked forward to being wowed by the experience like it used to be …"
