"Morton's is a great place. While we've visited other Morton's locations in the past, this was our trip to the Schaumberg stroe. The ambience,staff,and especially the food (steaks and all sides)were outstanding. I'd recommend it to a friend in a minute.
It was our anniversary and they went all out to make it special for us."

"Oh Morton's, how have you come down?
I used to take customers out to Morton's wherever I traveled for an unparalleled food and service. For years, they have not disappointed, until recently when they were acquired by Laundry's. First, service seems to have suffered. There were no specials on this visit, and disappoingly - no menu presentation. Our server did not seem very attentive, one of us had glass and was not offered another one. Getting water refilled was a challenge. But worse than the service was the food. I ordered my steak medium, it was served well done and charred. One of the worst one I ever got anywhere. I used to think they high prices still provided good value - not anymore. I will not be back."

"Sorry to report but this place has lost it. I understand Morton's price value equation and have never minded paying the prices because the combination of meat and service were always worth it. Long time Morton customer. What happend to the meat presentation? Service was poor, a table of VIP's took most of the staff's attention to our (and other table's) detriment. Serviceused to be crisp, attentive and professional. Nothing but inexperienced amateurs now, from the front of the house to the waitstaff. Brought the wrong bottle of wine when ordered, food was seved warm, not hot. Overall a totally average, forgetful meal that is no better than any other and ALL competitors provide better service. Not worth the price"

"I was impressed at first when we were promptly seated. However, the positive experience ended right there. The dining room was extremely loud and noisy; some family-style buffe place might have been quieter. I ordered crab cake appetizer as entree, but the dish was made into a full entree at three times the price. I ended up with bringing two thirds of the meal home. Perhaps the server couldn't hear what I was saying? The food was good, but definately over-priced for the entire dining experience. Paying $150 for two, I would have gone to a place where I could enjoy food AND atmosphere at the same time."
