My wife and I just celebrated her birthday there and the dinner was amazing. I used Open Table to make reservations and immediatley when we walked in the hostess greeted us by saying Happy Birthday. The ribeyes and scallops are without question some of the best I have ever had, which I consider to be a strong compliment as we recently moved back to Illinois from Maryland. Our waitress Jennifer was attentive and simply overall delightful. Order: two ribeyes (medium-rare), one tenderloin (medium-rare) and one salmon. Vegetables were mashed potato and broccoli. Dessert was carrot cake, chocolate cake, sorbet, and a souffle for the birthday person.
The ribeyes, rather than being marbled, had big fatty deposits. For the price they were disappointing. The tenderloin was excellent. The salmon was excellent (perhaps a bit small for the price). The vegetables were disappointing, dry potato and undercooked broccoli. The desserts were unbelievably good... and so large that they could be shared.
