  • "Our experience was great but for one thing. The people at the table behind us were taking flash photos every minute or so. I understand wanting pictures of special events, but come on!!!I was blinded by "flash burn" to the extent I couldn't even see the people at my own table.Have a bit of consideration for the other people in the room. Otherwise, food was amazing, service superb, I would come back(with my sunglasses, just in case!)"

  • "Have been going to Morton's Santa Ana for 20 years. Years ago-stellar food and service. Has deteriorated into a less than mediocre restaurant. Tony, the manager, is rude and condescending. The service is better at Denny's. The food is average."

  • "We went for my wife's birthday since I had a $100 gift card. We still spent nearly $200 and the food was good. The value is lacking... We also reserved with Open Table and afterwards I was told that I would not get points for the meal."

  • "Morton's is my staple steak restaurant. I have been to dozens of them across the country and just like this one, the food is outstanding. Since the takeover by its new owners however one item is missing: real butter with the bread! Why is that? Did this really have to be substituted with that wiped cheap stuff? it does put a dent in the experience for those that knew the good old days."

  • "We had lunch with my mom for her 84th Bday. She does not do well in many restaurant settings because she generally can't hear with back-ground noise. Even though the restaurant was full, she could hear just fine. Wow! Love that. The decor is elegant and inviting. Food was superb, everything we had was cooked perfectly. A great place for any occasion. This was my first visit and I am planning to go back to have dinner - can't wait to try one of their steaks!"

  • "Our son and daughter-in-law gave my husband and I a gift certificate for dinner and we tried the 3-court certificate dinner. We both had the salmon which became available for a fish selection, The food was fantastic from the salad through the hot chocolate cake. Our server, Jon, was very attentive as well as the waiters who delivered water and coffee. The decor is beautiful. While the dinner price is not inexpensive, it is well worth the money for a marvelous night out for dinner."

  • "We have dined at Morton's many times and have found the food, service and ambiance exceptional. However, this time we ere somewhat disappointed. Our server was very slow and several times left our table in the middle of our ordering to go to another table. We went for a special promotional meal and found that the portions were much smaller than in the past. Although we will probably return as this was our first less than exceptional dining experience at Morton's, we will research the promotions first."

  • "We've been to the Santa Ana location twice and it is consistently good. Great food and excellent service! We've had a hard time finding another upscale Laundry's restaurant to use our rewards points. Food was not good at McCormick & Schmick's. It's supposed to be a seafood restaurant but the Clam Chowder was runny - much better at Claim Jumper. Menu too limited at the Chart House in Dana Point. The Morton's in Anaheim is just for DisneyLand tourists. Cramped and servers acted annoyed when we asked to sit away from the kitchen."

Unfortunately, we were seated in the middle of the dining room and the noise level was way too high. My dad, who is a bit hard of hearing, had difficulty hearing the table conversation. Maybe a table on the periphery of the dining room would have been quieter; I'm not sure. We've been to the Morton's in Woodland Hills several times and have never had a problem with the noise level."

She was awesome and needs to be acknowledged for her outgoing personality, consistent attention and catering to our dining experience. There were other associates that were attentive also.   • "Mortins is our go to special occasion resturant. My best friend and I took our boys for a nice evening at Mortins. It clearly was not the same service that I received in the past. Bread on the table when we arrived? The waiter hardly introduced himself, took our order immediatly, salads came out quickly we waited 40 minutes and two reminders for a bottle of wine the waiter said we did not order (wierd), took a long time for the rest of the dinner, when it arrived he had got the side orders also one never arrived. The materdee made up for the cluster of mistakes by comping the wine and deserts for boys. Would I go back? yes... Although it was not Mortins upscale service that we have recived in the past the manager made up for it in the end."

  • "The ambiance at Mortons is OK but not great. It consists of one large and noisy room. Our service provider spent very little time with us and seemed to be in a big hurry. Our steaks, soup and desert were good but the sides were marginal and luke warm. The wines are pricey. For a highly rated restaurant, our experience here was a disappointment."

  • "We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time, and waited another 10 minutes at the table before our waiter finally showed up and presented us with menus and water. The filet mignon was ordered medium, but was cooked to a very well done. The manager removed it from the bill. We expect a great experience for the price we pay, and the last few visits have just not been up to par. Fleming's is head and shoulders above this restaurant."

  • "We decided to try this morning because of the 35th anniversary special. When we ordered from the 35th anniversary menu, the way to rolled his eyes of us. We ordered a $149 bottle of wine and when it was served to us the Steward interrupted our prayer. My girlfriend asked to have no horseradish in the potatoes. The waiter said that would be fine. The potatoes were served with horseradish in them. We were trying to have a romantic evening but after the salad and entree were served, we were constantly bugged to get the check and leave. Very disappointing."

  • "Morton's has become less "special" since the Landry's chain bought it. It was always as good or better than Mastro's, but they seem to be trying to differentiate it by keeping Mastro's overly expensive, and making Morton's not as high end as it was, and more affordable, with specials and Landry's points - which you can't get at Mastro's, even though it is a Landry's chain restaurant as well. I wish Landry's had not purchased Morton's - it used to be the best of the high end steak house chains."

  • "We looked forward to this and it was ok, but not great. We will not go again as Ruth Chris for exceeds Morton's in our opinion. Service was fair from our waiter, but there was staff who appeared to be supervisors who constantly asked us if we needed anything. We expected food comparable to Ruth Chris but did not find it that way. The filet mignon my wife ordered was as good as any other top restaurant. I ordered the lamb chop and I had to cut through a lot of fat to get to the meat which did not have as good a flavor that I have gotten at other restaurants."

  • "This was my first time to Mortons and I have to say it ranked as an ok in my book. When compared to their competitors in the Orange County area in food and ambience it fell short. The steak was good as far as a prime filet goes however for the price and seasoning I prefer Ruths or Mastros which is far superior. Morton sides were a bright spot. The onion rings and Au Gratin Potatoes were very good. The dessert, chocolate souffle, was complimentary but bland and uninspiring. We did appreciate the restaurant providing the dessert as a gift for the occasion. The decor is a bit dated at the Santa Ana location not sure if this is true of all locations. Overall it was a nice dinner but not sure I would go again given the competition in the OC."
