when we arrived greet by very nice hostess our table was very nice (booth) with sparkles on the table (happy birthday).
although it was a very busy place, our waiter Mario never miss a beat. service was excellent. Had been to morton Vancouver Canada few years ago and san jose, and few other steak houses.. the SF morton is really a place to go it you like steaks.
my wife and i enjoy the evening very nuch.

We were met at the door and was greeted with Happy Birthday from the hostess. Our table was decorated with birthday confetti and the menu had Happy Birthday printed on it. The food - we have eaten at many Morton's restaurants and the food is always incredible. This was our second visit to this establishment and the food was phenomenal. The filet was like butter and the crab cakes were exceptional. The spinach and mushrooms is our favorite side. After dinner we were surprised with a lemon souffle complete with a birthday candle in it. The table was sprinkled with little Happy Birthday glitter items, they were very prompt with the reservation, and my wife got a huge kick out of the personalized menus! The service was excellent, the food even better. My wife had a filet that was cooked to perfection. I had the bone in rib eye that was excellent. Some claim there is not enough "seasoning" on the steaks here, I disagree. I like the beef to be the main attraction, not the seasoning that tends to mask the flavor. My steak was absolutely perfect. We had our 7 year old daughter with us. She loved everything she tried, but really enjoyed the rib eye. We literally stumbled upon Mortons on our walk back to our hotel, made a reservation when we got there for an hour later and are very glad we did. Though extremely pricey (our ribeye was $48 so we split it) it was one of the best steaks we've had. We accessorized that with grilled asparagus and a side dish of spinach and mushrooms and we were in heaven. We took a piece of carrot cake to go -- it was huge and amazing. I had taken someone there for a birthday celebration and they definitely made it a point to make the celebration more special by decorating the table, personalizing the menus and making providing a very nice photo of the night. Our server was great, very attentive along with the rest of the staff that checked on us enough, but not to the point where it was annoying (some places do TOO much)
The food but AWESOME. The steak was cooked perfectly and the rest of the sides were quite yummy!

The only thing I didn't like was that we sat for about 10 minutes without a server after being seated. But, once someone came over to help us the service was outstanding until the time we left. Even the valet was friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and the wines they served. He also made the best Raspberry Lemon Drop I've ever tasted. I think he was also the bartender for the evening.
