  • "There is so many wonderful things to say about Morton's but two that stand out are service and fabulous food. I noted the special occasion on the reservation. Everyone wished him birthday wishes before we even sat down. Our waitress was phenomenal - gave us plenty of time while still checking in with us. We ordered the five peppercorn NY strip steak in a bourbon sauce - very tender and perfectly cooked at medium. The lamb chops were juicy with a nice crust on the corners. Pure heaven. We shared two sides and the carrot cake was to die for. The manager came and chatted with us - he was so attentive. It was like talking to an old friend. That's how great of an experience we had - they let you sit and talk. We definitely will go back."

  • "This was our once a year extravaganza to celebrate the birthdays of two family members who are steak (and wine) lovers. Food very good. Service was OUTSTANDING! I had asked for a quiet table to accommodate one person's hearing disability and we got a lovely private area. They took our photo and gave everyone a complimentary picture. There had a been a slight snafu at the beginning and they were very apologetic and brought complimentary desserts for all--way above and beyond! The whole experience could not have been better."

  • "The filet and the rib eye did not come out as ordered, our wait person did not even bother to ask, if our meat was cooked right, one of the managers came by to check, and we told him, he brought an empty plate and took the partially eat filet and rib eye to the kitchen to be recooked. In a place as expensive as Morton, this was not acceptable. New meats should have been prepared, recooking the same meat is cheap of the restaurant, As one of the managers said " OK is not good enough" This was for sure Worse than not OK, mediocre service and food. The ACCOUSTICS were lousy, the table in front of us, had a group of people, the noise was so bad, that we could not hear each other's words, But we could hear clearly their conversations"

  • "This was my first visit to Morton's and I expected a great steak and that is exactly what I got. The 22 oz. bone in Ribeye was perfect. It was medium rare, just right, and oh so tender. My wife had the shrimp which was excellent also. It is expensive but we knew that going in. I would absolutely recommend Morton's."

  • "I had the mixed grill. The scallops and shrimp were delicious, but I was disappointed with the steak - which is their specialty. The petit filet was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender, but it had absolutely no flavor. I almost couldn't tell it was beef, if it weren't for a little char on the outside. Seasoning didn't even help. I was very disappointed. I don't mind $100 meals, but I do expect that they should be better than $25 meals, and this was not. Also, the staff was a little intrusive."

I made reservations after reading the menu on line and found they had a nice selection of Seafood, which made my mouth water. I mentioned on the reservation that I was celebrating my husbands 55th birthday and when we arrived, the staff, coat check person, waiter, everyone wished him a happy birthday; they even took a picture of us and framed it. He felt extremely special and I felt extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Great place, great ambience, great staff. We will be back. Thank you"

  • "I've been to Mortons around the country for 30 years. This one, in Rosemont, like all the others I've been to, is outstanding. From our appetizers to our side dishes, to our main courses (steaks), to our drinks, to our deserts, to our server, to the attention paid to each diner by the mgmt staff, everything was really over the top. Morton's has perfected executing the complete dining experience. Understand that there are some great steakhouses in Chicago, but none are Mortons. I just dropped $250.00 for my son and I to have dinner and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We just love the place."

  • "When I think of Morton's I think of high quality and that wasn't what we found. The Morton's salad tasted as if it was dressed with mayo right from the jar. The mashed potatoes were like paste. The steaks were tasty, however overly fatty. The carrot cake was one of the best I've ever tasted."

  • "The bar is on the main floor and the restaurant is down the stairs as you walk in. Striking decor is newly updated in strong masculine colors. Our servers were friendly and attentive. Mixed drinks were great but prices were unlisted so we had to ask--around $15 each! I had a Red Velvet (nice!) and my husband had a smooth margarita. He had Morton's house salad and the surf and turf, a tender beef cut with sauce and three large scallops perfectly grilled. I had a tasty bacon and chopped spinach salad followed by two crab cakes and a side of mashed sweet potatoes. Portions are generous and well-prepared; prices assume an equally generous expense account. Great place for a business dinner or a splurge for a date night."

  • "while I'm not at all thrilled with the presence of televisions, especially when they've got shows on like Shark Tank, where they're deciding to back a gun maker (I do believe in the right to bear arms) I love the new decor. Does TV really have to be EVERYWHERE? There's nowhere you can go now to just have dinner and enjoy each other, and now, not even Morton's. I just think fine dining, where you're paying $45 for a steak by itself, doesn't really have to entertain people with anything other than the wonderfully friendly faces we've come to love as family."

  • "The restaurant is currently doing some remodeling but that did not impact our dining experience at all. Nevertheless, it would have been good to know, in case this was a special dinner event. The food and service were good - considering the brand name and prices. The ambiance of the restaurant was way too loud and noisy, considering what one would expect from a fine steakhouse. Overall, good food and an acceptable dining experience for a high-priced steakhouse. Nothing to write home about."

  • "Love the online reservation opportunity, and to know that when I arrive from out of town, that at least 2 people greet me and that there is a table with my name on it (figuratively speaking). Waiters know their menus, and take the time to explain some of the dishes, to answer any questions, and come by and check periodically if I need anything else. And last, but definitely not least, the food is outstanding! Gives me great pleasure to take someone to Morton's who has never been there before; and my friends have never been disappointed. Quite the opposite! Rock on!"

  • "I've been to Morton's for Restaurant Week 2 years running , and I have to say, the food lives up to the hype. I had filet, cooked perfectly and melt-in-your-mouth divine. The Hollandaise supplied for my broccoli was a little thick, but buttery. My husband had delicious stuffed shrimp with an alfredo sauce. The double chocolate mousse was decadent, and the raspberry souffle airy and visually impressive. What I didn't like was the "look down your nose" reaction we received when asking for the RW menu. Is it too much to ask that both menus be presented? The server was competent and attentive, but not particularly friendly. She did provide recommendations when asked about menu choices. It was too noisy for easy conversation."

She was very friendly and made sure our drink requests were filled promptly. Our request to get seated early was accommodated. The food was excellent, the service was great.   • "Went with my girlfriend for chicago restuarant week. I got the 6oz filet, garlic mashed potatoes, baked five onion soup and cheesecake for dessert. The steak was phenomenal. I got it medium rare and it was the most lean and tender steak I've ever had. My girlfriend got the Salmon, Sweet corn, ahi tuna tower and the key lime pie. She was entranced the entire meal by how delicious it was. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

  • "We made last minute dinner reservations before the Zanies comedy club show. I had many steakhouses to choose from in this area. We chose Morton's because of the great restaurant week menu. We had a beautiful ahituna tower with a fiesta kick. Horseradish mashed potatoes and filet as well as the crab stuffed shrimp and pasta which had 3 different flavored sauces that I'm still trying to figure out eating my leftovers. So amazing! Key lime pie and whipped cream was worth every calorie! The manager was welcoming gave us bar app comps for another visit. He also let us leave our car and walk over to zanies. Our server was friendly and host made us feel at home and sat us in a romantic booth."
