They welcomed us by name upon arrival, prepared special menus with "Happy 5th Anniversary" printed at the top, took a keepsake photo and treated us to dessert. The customer service exceeded expectations and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Our server, Teresa, was very pleasant and not too "over-bearing". Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. They even took a very good photo of us which they presented at the end. When we first got there it was quite loud, but seemed to settle as it got later. My filet was rather charred and over cooked, but they graciously took it back and brought me one that was perfect. They apologized numerous times. All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening. Everything was perfectly prepared and service was top notch. I would highly recommend it for a special birthday dinner. The only downside would be the overpriced wine. We got a bottle for $50 and later found it at Harris Teeter for $16. We ordered the Steak & Seafood prix fixe menu where you get 5 courses for $59.99 each. It's not advertised but apparently it's always offered if you ask for it by name. Amazing and plentiful food.
The hostess came by and took our picture and put it in a frame to commemorate our anniversary, and the menus were printed with Happy Anniversary at the top. I must say that I miss my Tyson's Morton's and don't care to go out to Reston, downtown and elsewhere when I live in Tyson's... However, the food and service is good enough that we will do it sometimes, especially when Morton's is running their specials. The atmosphere is energetic, which is fine, but I must say that I don't care for the feeling of being packed in like sardines and it was even a weeknight. Morton's level of customer service is stellar as one would expect. In addition, they made sure that my friend felt extra special for her birthday with customized menu's and a special desert. The food was amazing - delicious, decadent and memorable. We had a great table right in the center of the restaurant and the energy that Saturday night was wonderful. Our waiter, Diego, was fantastic. He did such a great job. The manager that evening (I can't remember his name) was also wonderful and extremely hospitable. Thank you for making this evening such a special night for my friend. Service is always good and the steaks are ALWAYS delicious! Tried a good wine too (less expensive then we used to get but a great recommendation).
