Even though we came indoors from night sky, it was DARKER in the restaurant than it was on the street! My elderly grandmother could hardly see to walk, and we had to help her up stairs, around chairs/tables, etc. The restaurant was so dark, we had to hold our phones up to the menus to read them. Also, there were loud tables next to us that made no effort to keep the noise level down, so conversation was difficult. The staff was friendly enough, and offered my father a souffle dessert for his birthday. My steak was underdone, but seasoned perfectly, super tender filet, everyone else's perfect. We should have planned for at least two and one-half hours. The turn around time for our first course and the entrees was slow, as our server explained the kitchen was backed up. When our entrees did arrive, we had to eat quickly, with little time to enjoy the wonderful food. No time for desert and coffee. I got the check and paid it will we were eating our entrees.

I will definitely return.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great ExperienceI took my husband here for his birthday dinner and we were treated like royalty. Everyone was friendly without being pesky and made us feel welcome and as if we were long time patrons. The ambience was terrific, quiet, and elegant.
I had an excellent "up" Negroni and a very nice Pinot Noir with my meal. The steak and lamb was some of the best that we have eaten.
I have two small complaints. There was a tendency for the wait staff to remove our tableware or bread before we were finished with it. And, all of the food was super, except I did think the seafood items were slightly tough and overcooked.
