Morton's The Steakhouse - Philadelphia3rd AnniversaryWhen I filled out the reservation online, I did note that there was a field asking whether or not this was a business or social engagement. I really thought this would only dictate perhaps where in the restaurant we might be seated. After indicating social, a new prompt asked if it was a special occasion. And again, I thought perhaps this was just mundane marketing management to determine how best to position the restaurant for future business. It happened to be the occasion of our 3rd wedding anniversary. I'm a sucker for the little things. Throughout the night, everyone went out of their way to acknowledge our anniversary and they even comped our dessert. Our menus had Happy Anniversary printed at the top. Nice touch. Thank you.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous FoodEverything was delectable from the onion bread to my freshly made apple pie. There were several large parties that overwhelmed the dining room with their "laugh track" my husband and I joked to each other. But in all honestly, it did get a bit annoying two hours into our meal, if there was music playing we couldn't hear it over them. Otherwise, food, wine & service was outstanding.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMYet another flawless mealEvery trip to Morton's is just as amazing as we expect. Food, service, ambience are always on point. Our special occasion is always recognized. We look forward to coming back soon. You know it's good when you leave and already want to go back!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentHost was very gracious and pleasant. Made everyone feel special. Food was superb. Thank you !
Oliver & Jonee5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day TreatThis was a wonderful place to dine. The food and the service was excellent!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMnot what it used to behaven't been to morton's in a year. I do NOT like the new decor! Makees you feel like you are in a cheap diner, not an elite steakhouse.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was great BUT theEverything was great BUT the parking options were NOT. We had to park in a garage around the corner...the walk was not bad at all, since it was a beautiful spring evening however there should be valet parking. We only found out after dinner that there was valet parking across the street. If there is valet parking across the street, you should have a visible sign that says "VALET PARKING" with an arrow pointing across the street. There were absolutely no signs showing where valet was. Also let people know on your website & the "open table" email information.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner and a show.very memorable experience. Would have liked to sit at a table instead of a booth. I'm sure had we said something the restaurant would have moved us. Other then that everything was wonderful!! We had attended a show at the Kimmel and Morton's is just a short walk from there. We dined with our family which we don't get to do very often. It was my brother's brithday and his wedding anniversary as well. Dinner and a show , expensive. Spending time with family, priceless.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Stuff!I've been to Mortons' in San Fran, NY, AC, Orlando and Dallas...Phila is by far the best one!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, friendly and attentiveGreat food, friendly and attentive staff, and just a great place to go to relax!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was outstanding but serviceFood was outstanding but service was not. Expectations were not met.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe visited for a family occasion,We visited for a family occasion, ordered onion soups, lobster bisque, eye fillet and ribeye. Onion soup was flavorful, lobster bisque is more enjoyable if not too thick, steaks donesness was as ordered. Overall experience is positive and recommended for excellent USDA prime steak.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been to Morton's,We have been to Morton's, Philadelphia, many, many times and never hesitate to think about it when wanting to dine in "the city". On occasion it is very noisy/loud but this past Saturday there was no such problem4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMI love Morton's. They reallyI love Morton's. They really know their clients. Had Easter dinner and Erica was just great.
I've eaten in plenty of fine restaurants but Morton's by far is the best. Although I didn't care for the one in Atlantic City. The level of personal service just wasn't there. Thought I would mention that.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMMy boyfriend and I dined atMy boyfriend and I dined at Morton's for Easter dinner. We enjoyed our meal from the special Easter dinner selection and the service was superb! We were also celebrating Frank's 60th birthday and they took a picture of us and wrote a Happy Birthday message. Very thoughtful touch for such a special occasion. A memorable evening for both of us!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are 30 year patrons ofWe are 30 year patrons of Mortons in Philly. We love this Mortons. The new interior is a welcome change and consistent with an upscale center city steakhouse. One of the few places you can get a 16oz. strip which is consistently a prime cut (little waste), and our favorite cut of beef at Mortons. In 30 years I have experienced possibly 3 dining issues at this restaurant, which were handled promptly and professionally with genuine concern and to my complete satisfaction, over and above my expectation. We love the food, in particular the consistent quality of the beef. The only negative I have would be the wine list. Gets an fair A for content, but is overpriced to the point of being a disappointing distraction.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent asThe food was excellent as expected and prepared to perfection. The black truffle butter was really delicious and both our meals were done exactly as we ordered. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
