Other's also agree that this is the best Morton's in CA. They have excellent service and the food for wonderful. I celebrated my wedding annivsary and Mother's day here. We started out with oysters on the half shell and the Ahi Tuna Tower. Both were excellent. Our entrees were delicious and our beverage glasses were never empty. We have dined there before and once again were extremely pleased with the food and service. The Cajon rib eye steak was outstanding! The shrimp cocktail cold and delicious and we were excited to see the macaroni and cheese back on the menu. The manager and staff wished my husband a happy birthday several times throughout our evening and made sure we were well taken care. We then enjoyed a complimentary soufflé for a birthday dessert. This visit they did not have a chilled bottle of our selection available causing an undue delay in the service.
Also they continue to serve an unappetizing loaf of bread rather than decent dinner rolls or decent artisan bread. The food was excellent and the service was top drawer. The steaks were all cooked exactly as ordered and all of the side dishes and salads were great. The service was helpful, friendly, and efficient. The wine list is very solid, though a bit pricey.
We will definitely be going back here in the near future.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI had booked a reservationI had booked a reservation and at that time indicated we were celebrating my husband's birthday, not thinking much of it. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and when giving my name for the reservation, everyone greeted my husband with a loud "Happy Birthday" The restaurant provided special menus to us to indicate that it was a special occasion so thereafter, every staff member that passed wished him a happy birthday. After ordering, the hostess came by and offered to take our picture which was presented to us in a nice black Morton's card. He always finishes his meal but he didn't finish his lamb chops. When I tried them, it tasted like old mutton. I was not happy with my oversized filet.
