Morton's The Steakhouse - OrlandoExcellent! The Halibut wasExcellent! The Halibut was wonderful, and my husbands steak was perfect! Loved the chocolate souffle!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday CelebrationWe decided to go to Morton's for my husband's 2nd 21st birthday and they did not disappoint. Our table was decorated with glitter (which our kids loved) and they even printed a special "Happy Birthday" menu just for us. The staff also came over and took a wonderful family photo of us and printed it for us to take home. It's the extra touches that made this dinning experience so nice along with the great steaks and drinks, of course.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSteaks were outstandingthe food was excellent with the steaks perfectly prepared and as smooth as butter going down. The soufflé for dessert was sinfully delicious.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMdelectableAbsolutely loved the Chicago ribeye and the mac-n-cheese. Our waiter took the time to explain everything and was very attetive.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service at the barWell run establishment. They focus on "people" as well as food. If you like steak and seafood this is a perfect place to go. We had excellent service at the bar. Our bartenders Emily and Diane were extremely attentive on such a busy night. GM Nicki always makes you feel welcome. Having dinner in the Bar with impeccable service and food is always a memorable experience. The food is always outstanding at the Orlando Morton's4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Special OccasionThis was our second visit to the Morton's in Orlando. It was to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We were treated to a commemorative menu and photo. But for the real review. We tried the spinach salad which was flavorful and fresh, and Morton's salad which was also very good but a bit salty. We both enjoyed our surf and turf special with perfectly cooked filet mignon and crab cake. We choose the baked potato, which is the best we ever ate, and the grilled asparagus. Even though we took some dinner home, we enjoyed the key lime pie which was creamy and tangy and the molten chocolate cake which was decadent! Service was excellent and the timing of the meal was perfect.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMorton's in Orlando spoiled us.We had dinner in the Bar with relatives from Chicago who often dine in the Chicago Morton's and think Morton's restaurant chain in general has gone down hill since its acquisition by Landry's. It truly is sad since Morton's originated in Chicago. They said they were spoiled by having dined at Morton's in Orlando because our location unlike anywhere in Chicago is safe and our weather allows us to be seated outside if we prefer. Service is exceptional in the Orlando Morton's and is by far the best! Great food and service from Diane in the bar and Joe the manager also. Martini's were perfect and so was the food. They can't wait to return to Morton's in Orlando on their next visit.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good food and great service.Very good food and great service. I will definetly eat here again.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was our 48th anniversaryIt was our 48th anniversary and we were treated like royalty4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGrossly overpriced; I wouldn'tGrossly overpriced; I wouldn't recommend unless the person had hundreds of dollars to spend on a meal - a slice of carrot cake was $12.50, more than 1/2 of my $23 appetizer4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner in the BarWhen you walk through the door and smell steak cooking, your really glad you walked in. The Martini's at Morton's are the best in Orlando. We go to this restaurant all the time and have a perfect meal every time. Dinner in the Bar with Bartenders Emily and Diane is always delicious and they make sure every order is prepared as requested.Try the Steak Taco appetizer it's amazing.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMMorton's Birthday CelebrationThe entire staff was great and made our evening extremely enjoyable.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner in the BarDinner in the Bar was great. The food is cooked to perfection and seasoned so you want to eat more. The meat is always the top of the line. We had a 48oz. Porterhouse and it was butter, the best. All the vegatables were cooked just right and seasoned to perfection. Save room for desert as the Souffle is to die for.Service is never rushed and always correct.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI recommend the mixed grill.I recommend the mixed grill. Best bang for your buck. Last night my shrimp were a little
over cooked. Steak is to die for. Very pricy, but usually you get what you pay for in life. $200+
on two dinners with sharable sides, four cocktails and two desserts. Molten chocolate cake is
the best dessert I've had anywhere!!!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is consistently outstandingFood is consistently outstanding but the overall experience is too pricey. Drink prices are sky high. If your money is burning a hole in your pocket, go here and you will be well fed.2/6/2013 12:00:00 AManother great mortonsLove the fact that anywhere I go
I know I will get a good consistent meal.
There were three of us for dinner and
we were all very satisfied as the server
was above and beyond. The porterhouse was cooked
to perfection. This Mortons served the best
lobster bisque I've had. They actually put a
couple of big pieces of lobster in the soup.
One person had the sea bass and the other had a filet mignon.
Both were great.
The brussel sprouts and lyonaise were also great.
Wonderful meal.1/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect food ~ Perfect service! The food was PERFECT. Our server (Richard) was the BEST! The only one annoying thing: The Chef pounding on something at his table. Maybe he was tenderizing something? But we were the ONLY ones in the dining room at the time (around 5:30-5:45pm). We were there on a Monday evening and business was slow. But I think the employees could find a better spot to "talk" than in front of the Chef's station in full view of the few of us clients.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
