  • "My filet mignon was supposed to be medium well and came well and dry, very overcooked....the server was happy and anxious to have another one cooked but I had to rush through my entree when it came again and I ate my sides without my entree so it was just not the special experience I was expecting....nothing was offered by the manager except an apology which is okay but I expect Morton's to be able to cook a $39 steak right the first time! It was my birthday dinner too so at least a complimentary dessert could have been offered."

The atmosphere was very dated too. The bread was horrible also. Will not return. Ruth Chris , Flemings and Stoney river have you beat by a mile! The only good thing I can say is our service was great , hostess also very friendly."

  • "My sisters and I were there for a special occasion. We asked for a quiet table and were seated in a quiet corner. Monica, our waitress was extremely accommodating and pleasant. The food was 1st class as always- our Mixed Combo steaks cooked perfectly, scallops were moist and the apricot chutney added the perfect compliment, shrimp were cooked just right. All in all a great night out! Thanks!"

  • "THis is the 4th Morton's restaurant I ve been to. I have visited the New Orleans, Puerto Rico, and Los Angeles locations. My Favorite one is still the New Orleans restaurant. The one in San Juan, PR has a beautiful view of the ocean. Reagrdless, every Morton's I have been too has excellent food and service. The Nashville restaurant had a nice wine list with a few recommended "rare reds and whites" list at a very affordable price ($60-$100 bottle) The portions are sufficienctly large. Salad was big enough for two. Only complaint was my steak was slightly overcooked (I ordered medium and it was closer to medium-well) but it was still quite delicious. Will definitely continue to visit Morton's restaurants whenever I travel."

  • "Despite having reservations for 6:45pm, we had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes as it appeared that they were overbooked. Our server was just Ok having mixed up a few portions of our order and was not very good at checking on our table periodically. Overall, the experience was disappointing based on our visits here in the past."

  • "I have the opportunity to dine at high end steak houses regularly. This was not a great experience. The waiter was slow. He had no personality and made us feel as though we had interrupted his nap time. Our food did not all come out at the same time. One person had wine yet it took him about a half an hour to clear the rest of the wine glasses. The steak was typical. Good cut of meat. No special spices to it or anything. So realistically I could have cooked the same one in the comfort of my own home. The baked potatoe for $11 that is supposed to be huge was hardly that. I don't like brococli so I didn't try that, but a number of people that did have it actually said it was awful. Maybe I was just being picky."

  • "Very good service and delicious asparagus and creamed corn, but I wouldn't return for the simple reason that the meat's not free-range. The server checked with the chef for us. That he needed to check with the chef also hints that how animals are treated prior to their getting to the restaurant isn't something Morton's has given much thought to. At these prices, I expect guilt-free carnivorism."

  • "Our waiter was superb. I recall he said he was graduating from college soon. We had a wonderful dinner and bottle of wine that was recommended. I like a well done steak but generally restaurants find that difficult to accomplish however Morton's cooked my steak to perfection!"

We were amazed at just how good the side dishes were, we had the bacon mac'n cheese and Brussels sprouts, and also a side of mixed mushrooms. All superbly cooked and full of great flavors. The wines and desserts perfectly complemented the meal. As for the service, it was excellent! Very knowledgeable and attentive throughout the meal. Everything made our special night even more special."

  • "I visit Morton's often and have always had extremely great service. They food always come out correctly, even if it was the 2nd try. I got the CORE END of 2 tomatoes for app. In the initial pres. of the entree, I received 2 scallops which were old, dry and asked them to be replaced. I asked and confirmed w/the waitress and floating manager my steak temp. 1st try, over cooked, second try, took less than 2. minutes, so the FM admitted to giving me someone else's steak. It was OVER-Cooked as well.. By then, I was done with my attempt to eat."

Great portion but so much white pepper/spice in it that it was almost too spicy to eat and you couldn't taste any of the other flavors including the lobster. Steer clear on this. Also the potatoes were undercooked in the twice baked au gratin. The 16 oz prime ribeye was excellent though as was the caesar salad."

  • "I am QUITE sure the shrimp in our appetizer were Asian farmed shrimp and not wild caught; I know they were not Gulf shrimp. The potatoes au gratin had sort of a weird taste, but the brussel sprouts were okay. The steaks we had were not good, especially for the ~$50 price. Top quality beef that commands a ~$50 price SHOULD NOT BE individually vacuum packaged, which was easily displayed from the kitchen window. There was not much flavor, it seemed water-logged, nor was their any char. The wine list was impressive, the prices not so much, but what came recommended was very good. The server was good, but the kitchen was extremely slow. We ordered a glass of white wine with our appetizer and by the time our shrimp arrived the wine was gone."
