  • "You have got to love the perks of this week. This restaurant was so amazing and obviously fancy that if it weren't for the deal given i wouldn't have been there. Three courses for $25 where this restaurant had salads for $12 and entrees from $23-$50 a meal. Very decadent food and well detailed everything was delicious. I had the 6 oz filet medium well and it was done perfectly. The juices were left on the plate and served with yummy mashed potatoes I was in heaven with every bite and it was the perfect portion size. My mouth waters every time I talk about how awesome it was. I would love to go there again."

  • "There were two managers working and the older bald one was not very nice. after paying the check the waiter came back with the change. The waiter was very nice so I left a 22% tip. The manager came to the table took the waiter's tip and ran off. Strange man."

  • "Went for my husband's bday. Host was on phone when we got there. He ignored us for a good 5 minutes before he had someone else attend to us. Meanwhile they were not busy. They forgot to give us my husbands complementary bday menu. I had to ask for it which ruined that surprise. We both ordered our steak med well. Mine came rare and his came well done. My husband had to ask that his meal be kept hot while we waited 4 my steak to be cooked. Waiter should have offered that 2 begin with. Hubby ordered cheesecake 4 dessert but got key lime pie instead. We also were not asked if we wanted coffee before our dessert was brought to us. Waiter was not attentive or experienced enough.Much prefer the Morton's in Hackensack. Disappointed."

  • "We went to Morton's to celebrate our anniversary and the staff treated us as if we were the most important couple there. Thomas, our server, treated us like a royal couple. He was so nice and pleasantly answered all our questions about the menu. The food was outstanding, from the bread to the salads to the steaks and side dishes and finally to the dessert. After our entrees, Thomas took our picture and later presented us with a nice anniversary gift of the photo and special anniversary menus to take home. Overall we had a great experience and will be back."

  • "The food here was very good. We went for NYC Restaurant Week, as Morton's is very well known. Our only issues were that it was about 60 degrees inside on an 80 degree day, so it was way too cold for comfort. Also, I ordered a beer, which I was told was meant to share for multiple people, so the waitress recommended something else. Instead of a normal beer ($8 still), I was served a $17 beer! A customer should be informed before a purchase as ridiculous as that!"

  • "We had a great meal and the service was first class. The only criticism was that we were told to order desert with the main order which in hindsight wasn't a great move as when it came we were too full to eat it."

  • "I dined at Morton's for restaurant week. The restaurant is like visiting your grandmothers house - a bit old fashioned and traditional. They play it safe with old stsndards that are a bit boring. Most likely that is what customers expect from a steakhouse. The only problem is that the steaks were nothing special and the chicken dish was not edible. I don't plan to return."

  • "Took my kids for Restaurant Week. My daughter loved her filet and mashed potatoes. The toddler really enjoyed her mac and cheese. My shrimp/angel hair pasta was pretty good. My daughter also especially enjoyed the bread and chocolate mousse."

  • "The service was great and food arrived quickly. The quiet and dark ambience was a perfect retreat from the humid, bright hubbub of the city. We did not feel rushed or lacking in attention from our server. The steak was prepared as ordered, but the flavor was lacking. Perhaps the dinner chef is better than the lunch chef as is typical of a lot of restaurants lately."

  • "Great food, excellent service! My daughter and I were in New York for our first time and happened to have Landry's Rewards points that were expiring soon, so went to Morton's Steakhouse. It happened to be Restaurant Week, so we double scored! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Manhattan!!"

  • "I took my boyfriend to Morton's for his 30th birthday, what made it extra special was that they had a special menu with his name on it, they took a picture of us, printed it, and put it in a paper frame and wrote happy birthday on it which I thought was very sweet. And he also got to pick any dessert on the menu on the house for his birthday! The food was also very good but it was nice to have all the extra touches."

  • "I a long time Mortons person. They were very much off thier game. Service was excellent food not so good. Steak very dried out and tough. For the first time in all my Mortons going they disappointed me. Maybe it was the summer slow down"

  • "Every time I come to this place it gets better and better. The customer service is like no other in he city! I highly recommend working with Sean E, as he is very knowledgeable about the plates and will guide you in the right direction. Sean is very attentive and wants to ensure each customer has a great experience. Joan Pena the manager is a class act!!! He always recommends the best wine and makes you feel comfortable always!! Everything on the menu is always fresh no matter what time you arrive. Thank you both Sean and Joan for making us feel welcome and from your professionalism, it is really appreciated. Hands down the best steak house in Manhattan, and what really adds to the overall appeal besides the food, is are the people."

  • "We celebrated my wife's birthday at Morton's. The staff prepared a special personalized printed menu wishing her Happy Birthday Dana. Going beyond the impeccable food and service they brought her a molten chocolate desert with a candle gratis. This was followed by a photo that they gave her wishing a Happy Birthday from Morton's. Morton's truly made this a wonderful experience. We both had the filet which could not have been better."

  • "The fillet is solid. Salmon fillet is even better than the beef because of its side. I love corn and veggies. I just hope the fillet mignon offers more side options other than smashed potatoes on the Restaurant Week menu. Overall, the service was attentive and and ambience was good. I will return for regular menu, for a date, maybe."

  • "I had lunch with friend during restaurant week. I had never been to Morton's but was recommended by friends to visit the one in White Plains, NY, but since my friend wanted to be in the city I made reservations for the lunch deal. From the time we entered to our departure service was above and beyond. The food was to die for the steak melted in my mouth, even my nine year old God son loved the food. He wants to go again when he comes back for a visit( Salmon). the 3-Course meal deal is much better than some are offering. They offer a real desert not a "cookie", Cheesecake, chocolate mousse, key lime pie...Yummy!"

  • "As a restaurant week deal for lunch, this place probably can't be beat if you like steak. Is it an amazing steak (I had the 6oz filet)? No. Everything is good, and there is nothing I could complain about, except that they overcooked my steak--but promptly brought me a new one. Which leads me to why, despite the "good" food I give this place 4 stars: the service and atmosphere were excellent. Not Daniels or Per Se excellent, but the staff was pleasant and efficiently, the music was appropriate and tasteful, and the decor was classy and fun (kind of a modern-retro/deco feel). I would definitely recommend Morton's for the Restaurant Week lunch, as it's a great deal on a very tasty and filling meal--but for pure steak quality, try elsewhere."

  • "Hostess and Host (Richard) were prompt and genuinely friendly in their welcoming of us. Jaclyn did a great job giving attention to personal service. She didn't hovering, yet attended to us at the right times during the three course meal. One drawback was she didn't serve the ladies at the table first, whether it was drinks or food. However, she did give good and proper attention to our six year old daughter. The 6 oz sirloin was a tad undercooked, more rare than medium-rare; same thing for the salmon, which was a bit more undercooked than medium-rare. Though, both were tasty. Mash potatoes were a tad too whipped, but good; and the strawberry shortcake was too firm, but good. Ice tea wasn't refilled, but bread and water service were prompt."
