The staff at Morton's treated us very special on our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Excellent service, excellent food, special dessert. We cannot say enough about our experience. It made our celebration so perfect.

On this trip, my filet was over cooked, but the wait staff quickly corrected the problem - this is the first time that has happened to me. Would recommend to anyone, and if you have to pick a dessert order the chocolate mousse!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant is nicely laidThe restaurant is nicely laid out, quiet, professionally managed and staffed with quality personnel who made us feel right at home. Our server, Debbie, was highly knowledgeable of the menu as well as the history of Mortons. The food delivery timing was as it should be in a fine dining restaurant...no hurry but proper time flow from apetizer to salad to entree' and then onto desert. The entire dining experience spoke volumes to Management's ability to train and communicate Morton's mission in this very competitive business environment.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMNOT THE BESTWe were not that impressed with our steaks at Morton's. We have had much better. The service was excellant. I will have to think long and hard about coming back. I had heard Morton"s has the best carrot cake in town. I can't agree. The cake was good and moist but the icing was not the cream cheese flavor I like.

Morton's had a printed custom menus to contratulate them! The waitor brought out a lemon souffle that was really good (and on the house)! In all we had a great experience. The service was good, however because the there were only a few other diners in the restaurant, our server was overly attendant. The food was good but not great, particularly in comparison to other similarly priced premium local restaurants. My wife ordered a couple glasses of wine that she expected to be $11 each and ended up being $17 each. We can only conclude our service didn't understand the wine that my wife ordered. To be fair, we didn't raise the issue with our server or with management.
