When my dining companion was seated, we ordered drinks and received some well-crafted cocktails: so far so good.
At this point, I must warn the reader: Morton's is expensive. For example, my 12 ounce filet (perfectly cooked, mind you) was priced at $50. Granted it was a magnificent piece of beef, but it came with NO sides; everything was extra. At the premium price, this seems a little mean-spirited.
However, beef lovers will appreciate the quality of the meat; seafood lovers will enjoy the fresh oysters and perfectly grilled scallops. The salads were great (chop salad, salad with walnuts and pears). My husband had the 22-ounce steak and found it perfectly prepared. I loved my crabcakes with a mustard mayonnaise dressing. We had no room for dessert. Our waitress was terrific- attentive and helpful without being intrusively friendly. She certainly helped make the meal as delightful as it was. I made reservations on line without any problems, very quick and easy. We arrived about ten minutes early and they sat us right away. We were greeted by everyone with a warm welcome. The manger greeted us before we sat down and when we were done eating to make sure everything was satisfying. The service was wonderful!! We had an outstanding dinner and did not feel rushed at all!! I called ahead and asked if they had menus with no prices. The staff was so accomodating and printed up special menus with our family name at the top. The food was spectacular (as always). But the King of Prussia staff really are the best staff in ALL the Mortons I have visited in the country. They went out of their way to make our night special, making my parents feel welcome and not intimidated by the menu, ect.
