As usual, very warm greeting by the very professional staff. Mortons has a great, classic decor and is not too dark. Food was excellent. I ordered the Bibb lettuce salad, which was very nicely done with pears, toasted walnuts and a vinaigrette dressing. I had the Chicago-style bone-in ribeye, which was totally delectable and perfectly cooked. The enormous baked potato side was also prepared perfectly - and they offer generous toppings (sour cream, butter, bacon bits, etc.) that they put on after the server mashes the potato. Our server was great - very friendly and attentive. Other staff helped her out, so you have the feeling that they care about us. Our waitress Janine was very knowledgeableable and friendly A+. We had 2 baked platter which consists of a giant shrimp, giant scallop, crabcake and oyster delicious but pricey 23 per person. We had the fillet mingion and porterhouse it was cooked well done not burnt but just right, moist and tender.My only complaint is that it was a little salty for my palate compared to RC A-. Sugar snapped peas, mac&cheese and hot chocolate cake was good B+.We were surprised with a Lemmon souffle with a candle and they took pictures and we were mortonized :) AAAAA+.My first visit memorable happy wife priceless.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceStaff gave special attention to our anniversary that much appreciated. The food was outstanding. There are four main steakhouses along this strip of Northern Blvd. included the vaunted Peter Lugars and for business or pleasure I have eaten in all of them.
