  • "first off ...we were very impressed with that the staff recognized the fact that it was Mitch's birthday by printing a menu just for us acknowledging the celebration. it said Happy Birthday Mitch on it from Morton's with the date...he loved it..My only complaint was that we sat in a cozy romantic booth and then the host sat 3 men that were toooo loud having a sort of buisiness meeting..kinda killed the atmosphere...Food was EXCELLENT..service as well"

  • "We started with cocktails and wines by the glass which were top notch. We opted for Mortons' Steak and Seafood special which offers a taste of everything that is outstanding at Morton's for a very reasonable price. The choices of salads, the shrimp, crabmeat and scallops alongside filet mignon and optional cajun ribeye and the humungous sidedishes were outstanding. So were the dessert choices of hot chocolate cake with ice cream, and a savory key lime pie dowsed in fresh whipped cream. The service was very attentive and a hostess took, developed and delivered a picture of our table within a Birthday card, as a remembrance of the occasion. Morton's of Great Neck knew how to make our special occasion a success, and we will be doing it again."

I felt it was a bit pricey but we wanted something special & different, and that's exactly what we got! We enjoyed everything the food was well worth the price and we did not leave there disappointed! We do eat out but not at this type of restaurant however we would consider going back again for another special occasion."

  • "My wife and I had a night out without the kids and I was easily able to make reservations on Open Table for Morton's; definitely glad I did. Everyting was great. The wait staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. The food was really out of this world. The steaks came the way we ordered them and the Rib-eye was out of this world. The only thing I won't do again is the bacon steak appetizer; it's just too fatty. Other than that, my wife couldn't stop talking about it fo rthe rest fo the weekend."

  • "It started with reservation which was 15 minutes late, no big deal but when told to see maitre'd we had to stand in hall for at least 5 minutes before seating. It took over 30 minutes after order to get appetizers of a crab cake and soup and nearly an hour to get the Entree. This was the second time in about 2 months that the service was poor. I've been to many Morton's in the USA and none were nearly as poor in service as Great Neck. The food was great"

  • "Everything that was served was great. The wine list is spectacular. The only tiny wrinkle was my attempt to get an espresso and sambuca. I got a regular coffee first, I corrected him. On the second attempt I got an espresso with a port wine. I gave up and just gave the port to a friend."

  • "I couldn't be happier with my experience here. My wife and I truely enjoyed our time here. Service was friendly, interesting and helpful. Everything was explained to us on the menu and things recommended. Very nice wine selection. But by far the food was the most memorable. I have never had a better Steak in my life. Cooked and aged to perfection. Exploding with flavor the moment I put it in my mouth. Lets put it this way, I even savored the fat. My only negative would have to be the price. For both of us and our economic standing it was expensive ($300+ after gratuity). Was it worth the price, absolutely. I would go here on a regular if my budget would let me but for now it will be special occasions."

I ordered the 24oz Porterhouse for the main course, It was cooked to perfection. I was also pleasantly surprised by a complimentary dessert and photo for my Birthday. However, what spoiled our evening was our waitress. She rushed us throughout the entire meal. This is a waitress who has been there for many years. We were in and out in less than an hour. What should have been a relaxing dinner ended up being the worse experience we have had at Morton's."

Only complaint was that we made a 715 reservation but weren't seated until almost 8. There were empty tables, so maybe they were short on servers, I don't know. Server removed charge for our cocktails as an apology for keeping us waiting. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed ourselves."

  • "This was hands-down the best steak I've (and my boyfriend) has EVER had. We both had the NY Strip, medium rare. The steak cut like soft butter. The marinade was to die for. The service was great. I would absolutely come back here - again and again - and also plan to have our engagement dinner here. Everyone know's Morton's is the best - but my steak on Valentine's evening (which is one of the busiest nights of the year!) confirmed this. Bravo, Morton's!"

  • "Excellent food, probably one of the best steaks I've had. Service not so good. Our waiter did not explain everything correctly and was very sneaky about the pricing of the food. He asked us if we had been there before and we told him no. When one of the people in my party asked what was included with the plate he pointed to the side dishes and asked us if we wanted salad making us think it was part of the meal. When the bill came, each item was priced separately but it was to late to argue since we ate everything since the food was so good, he also tried to charge us for a 5th drink that no one had and made a face when we told him about it. We all felt robbed and deceit. Had the service been better it would have been an awesome experience."

  • "The room we were in seemed like the extra space room. No atmosphere at all. Had two waiters telling us totally different things. Were told about the special champagne after we ordered our drinks. For the prices here they could have given a glass of champagne on the house. They gave nothing for Valentine's day, not even a rose. This was my worst Valentine's restaurant in all the years we have been going out for dinner. Food was ok. Will not go back."

  • "I don't have anything negative to say about this restaurant. We started off with a chopped spinach salad which was huge and very tasty. The filet mignon was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bacon wrapped scallops melted in your mouth, and the jumbo lump crab cakes were the best I've had. As for the sides we had Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese, which were both great. To finish off the feast it was a piping hot chocolate cake with raspberries, ice cream, and caramel. Delicious to say the least. Obviously by reading my review you have come to the conclusion that I will be returning."
