  • "We got there early so we set in the bar for a drink. The bartender never seemed very friendly toward us as she was to other customers. It was noticeable that she was ignoring us. Not sure why. Then when we went in to dine, they stuck us at the very back next to the kitchen, water pitchers, and wait staff hangout. Did not feel very romantic for a special occasion. On the other hand, the food was fantastic."

  • "I booked my reservation through OpenTable and provided advanced notice that it was my wife's birthday and she was also very pregnant. They made every accommodation to make her comfortable and added details that included a birthday menu and a photograph of the occasion. Small touches, but they went a long way given the great service and quality entree and dessert. Will definitely go to Morton's again for special occasions."

  • "Food was outstanding as usual. First trip to new spot, was loud, change in recipes, change in service, doubtful we will be back. Having frequented Morton's in Chicago, Denver, DC, Dallas, & Kansas City this was a disappointing experience to say the least. New location lacks intimacy, and is loud while trying to play "Trendy" music. Long way of saying not pleased with the Dallas changes, we preferred the Elm St. location to this one."

They were completely blown away by the exceptional service, (Rodney, Jim and Antoinette), outstanding cocktails, wonderfully prepared food, atmosphere, and attention to detail by all. Morton's is our favorite "special occasion" restaurant and it never fails to live up to our expectations!"

  • "Morton's was the top choice to celebrate 2 birthdays and a new job. I was immediately greeted at the door with great energy and vibrancy by a very lovely hostess and the manager. After spending some time in the bar with Tom and Becca I was taken to my table. My server, Rodney was outstanding and attended to our every need. Though there was a slight issue, Rodney and the manager quickly resolved and continued to make the evening a fantastic celebration. We order the Cajun Ribeye, which is heaven in a cut of meat and a couple of great seafood specials. We felt really special and appreciated as the other servers stopped by our table to check on us and to attend to our needs. Very good looking staff, great ambiance, and excellent food!"

  • "My husband and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary there and were treated so special !! From the framed picture they took of us, the specially printed menu, to the gift of dessert, we were treated like royalty! The food was outstanding and we took home enough for 2 more meals! This was well worth the price and we will return. Thank you to everyone for their outstanding service! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the ambience was because we couldn't see the menu due to the darkness. Our phones didn't give enough light and we had to wait for the server to bring his flashlight !!"

  • "Unlike most restaurants who offer filets, this one offers three sizes of their filet, the smallest being a 6 oz. I opted for the medium size, an 8 Oz., and enjoyed that along with an unusual potato offering, consisting of fried potatoes and onions. The combination was fabulous when paired with one of the cabernet wines from the Morton extensive wine list!"

  • "The food was pretty good. My husband and I both ordered the fillet with black truffle butter and Parmesan and black truffle matchstick fries. The steaks were good but we were not a fan of the fries. Not worth the money. We also had a chocolate soufflé which we weren't crazy about. We would go there again due to excellent service and the steak was good. But we will not have the fries or chocolate soufflé again."

We love going to Capital Grille, Jasper's, and Abacus and we figured we'd venture out and try Morton's, basically because we had Salt Grass "points" and discovered they could be used at Morton's. What a treat! The service was great and the ambience was lovely, as you'd expect. But the food was over the top! I had their famous Chicken Christopher with a side of their bacon/onion macaroni and cheese which is plenty big enough for two people. It was amazing! My husband had surf and turf and couldn't stop raving about it! Treat yourself and give Morton's a try. I sincerely doubt you'll be disappointed!"

  • "I've eaten at a number of Morton's restaurants that always seem to be enjoyable experiences. This one on McKinney was really terrific. All of our meals were extremely well prepared and we had the feeling whatever we wanted the staff would do everything possible to provide. Tory waited on us and provided wonderful service as well as an attentive manager even providing a follow up thank you phone call. None of it came across as phony, all seemed genuine and welcoming. It's a must restaurant to visit!"

Of course, the service was excellent, with the waiter patiently answering all of your question regarding the evening's menu. A must if you are searching through Dallas' steakhouses for a good meal."

  • "My wife and I both like Morton's, but this time we had under-seasoned side dishes that were very bland and poor service. We poured our own wine from the bottle the whole night and could never find our waiter when we needed him. Later he was shadowed by another waiter who we thought was overseeing his training and it made it more understandable why our service was poor. Later we found out she was being trained by him! Doesn't give us hope for the future Morton's servers."

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. The only down side of the evening was the temperature of the restaurant. It was to hot but the managers did try to cool it off. One other disappointment was in regards to the lobster tail that was served as part of the Valentine Dinner special. I payed an extra $10 to increase the size from 6oz to 8oz which I thought was a little steep and I could not notice much of a difference. It was cooked wonderfully though as was the steak."

  • "My family was in town for my brother and sister in law's 25th wedding anniversary. Without hesitation they said they wanted to celebrate at Morton's. GREAT choice!!! The scallops were melt in your mouth delicious, the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was heavenly, and the steaks are the best in town. Dave's service was friendly, informative and genuine. From the smiling valet, warm welcome upon entering, great food, great service, It was a night we will all remember. Thank you Morton's!"

Perfectly cooked steaks and scallops (don't miss them) and a very nice wine selection. However, the food may have been outdone by the service. Dave was spot on - informative but not overbearing, attentive and made sure our dining experience did not lack in any detail. We will definitely go back."

  • "Staff was friendly and energetic. Service was good without over-frequent and intrusive attention. The short-rib tacos appetizer was very good - there were two and we each had one. As usual, the ribeye was heavenly - just done right with a little crunch on the outside and medium rare on the inside. The twice baked potatos were a very good side - really rich and lots of cheese. The hot chocolate cake was very good - sort of like a molten lava dessert. We also split it and enjoyed it immensely. As usualy, the ingredients were of the highest quality, and the meal was simply (not overly fussy) and well prepared. The steak was first class!"
