  • "We love dining at Morton's! The steak is always prepared perfectly to our preferences and the service is impeccable. Our needs are anticipated; the staff is helpful but never intrusive. The atmosphere at dinner is quiet and dignified. The filet is our favorite steak and (at least so far) the horseradish mashed potatoes a favorite side. We can highly recommend the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella as an appetizer. The dessert we like best are the key lime pie and creme brulee but we do plan to try the souffle on our next visit."

  • "This would have been a pretty good $90 dinner... Unfortunately it was $200 For our first anniversary, I decided to take us to Mortons, the last time I was there was 10 years ago. The "presentation" is gone, the ambiance is gone, the amazing steak is gone. This was an average steak dinner with superb level pricing. Not impressed at all."

  • "I have been to Mortons 2 times in past year for special occasion. Both times meat was significantly undercooked. This time we asked for medium well filet - was told medium was a better option and then got a rare steak. Felt like we we're be pushed out the door to make room for the next couple. We I am sorry to say won't be going back."

  • "I wasn't that impressed by this restaurant. I heard a lot about the restaurant and was told to try it, so my husband and I finally did. First the server didn't greet us for at least 5 minutes. A different server came and took the drink order, which he messed up. The bread they bring to the table is really good. We got the Oysters Rockefeller as the appetizer - they were pretty good. Our Caesar salad was good except for the bread they put on the side, it was stale. I ordered a chicken dish with the only description was it had a Garlic Bearnaise sauce. The presentation of the chicken and taste was horrible. I know I could have done it better at my own home. My husband got a filet. We have had better."

  • "I brought my boyfriend to Morton's for a nice birthday dinner. We ordered the scallops appetizer, filets and the garlic Parmesan mushroom side. Although the filets were cooked to temperature correctly, they barely had any flavor. The mushrooms tasted like they were steamed and served plain. The scallops were the best part but surely not worth $18 for 3 of them. Overall we spent over $200 for a meal I felt was worth about $40. Save your money and go to Outback."

  • "We were supposed to dine during restaurant week and went on a Saturday night only to find out, after we were seated, that restaurant week doesn't apply to Saturday nights. So what we thought would be a reasonably priced meal, turned out to be double that. We still got steaks, but they were chargrilled too much on the outside and too pink on the inside when ordering medium well. The steaks were not as melt-in-your-mouth that I thought a $40 steak would taste. All the dinner sides were extra, and were good, but also overpriced. My husband and I both felt we don't have to return. I could get better quality steaks at Outback with sides included. Overall the service was good and the atmosphere was cozy in the back room."

  • "I surprised my husband with Morton's for his birthday. We were both shocked when we got there that they made a special menu with Happy 40th Birthday on it. Also, they took our picture and put it in a mini album. We also received a free dessert. Everything about our dinner was great!"

  • "Food was over prices. I ordered medium steak and received med well sent it back then received medium rare. The sour cream potatoes tasted like instant box potatoes and the wedge salad at best was ok nothing special. They did comp for the steak, but considering I did not eat either piece that was a given. We haven't been to Morton in 11 years. Last time was in Denver and se were not happy with that either. We decided to give it another chance since we were going with another couple. We won't go back."

  • "We went to Morton's as one of our choices for restaurant week. Party of 4. Celebrating a birthday which I mentioned to waiter but they never acknowledged it. Salad was small and not interesting at all. One person in our party ordered salmon and when it arrived it was still raw. She asked if they could please cook in well done. They brought it back and it was still raw. Sent it back and since it was in about 4 pieces now I did not look very good , but it was well done. The big problem was that everyone in the party was finished eating by the time she got her salmon. I also think they should have done a whole new piece of salmon the second time. Also restaurant week has the restaurants give out cards for drawings and they never gave us any."

  • "Mynhusband's $56 steak was great. The $11 asparagus was the worst I have ever eaten. Three stalks with the indelible bottoms left on and awful balsamic dressing. French fries were greasy and chopped into little pieces. Baked potatoes were medium-large with no seasoning on the skin. All of the other potato sides had bacon as ingredients. The best part of the meal by far was the bread. Wonderful onion round loaves with soft butter! Plenty of people to service you."

  • "I had never been to Morton's before, but since we had gift cards and it was Cleveland Restaurant Week we decided to give it a go. This is definitely a special occasion place. i would recommend it for a romantic evening out to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, We had originally planned to go for Valentine's Day, but it was booked solid, little wonder. The service was excellent and everyone was very accommodating. We were seated in a very comfortable booth against the wall despite the fact that it was just the two of us. As for the food: all very well prepare and delicious. I can honestly say that I never tasted a better Filet Mignon in my life."

  • "Since I booked on line and informed them it was our anniversary they had special menus for our anniversary which were dated. They took a picture and gave it to us in a cute little frame. The service was outstanding, they were attentive but not annoying. The food was spectacular from the appetizer to the main course we were just thrilled with every aspect of our visit to this dining delight. I would recommend this for special occasions such as anniversary or birthday. It was a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for in all areas. They had valet parking which was most welcomed since we went in Feb. and the weather was extremely cold. We were greeted with friendliness and made to feel welcome by everyone."

  • "We sat for quite some time before being approached and then was told our waiter was very busy. We asked this random person for some water and he brought us some. Our waiter finally approached (with an apology) and took our drink orders. The food was good. The shrimp was dry and overcooked. The filet was delicious! The food did come out quickly which was nice. Just an OK experience for our 1st time there?"

  • "Given that it is 2014 and our palates have matured with a vibrant foodie scene in Cleveland. For half the price of Morton's and 3x the quality, you can eat great meat cooked by Zack Bruell, Doug Katz, Jonathan Sawyer or Michael. I haven't been to Morton's since the mid 80s and it tasted like the mid 80s...dark and clubby, great for those who prefer it that way."

  • "We chose this restaurant because of rave reviews and were sorely disappointed in the ambiance of the setting. First, we got there a little early, and were still not seating until after our reservation time though there were empty tables. Then we were seated by the door which was frustrating in that we made reservations far in advance. We were seated with one of our backs in an aisleway that kept getting run in to every time someone walked by. My better half had the beef short ribs and scallops and he said that it was excellent, my filet was mediocre and flavorless. We both agreed that the salads were top notch (I had the chopped, he had the bibb). The twice baked au gratin potatoes were also very good."

  • "Everything was pricey, but we expected that. Got the 59.99 on line special. Had the spinach salad, it needed more dressing, but was good. Upgraded to the bone in ribeye and it was absolutely wonderful. Chose the Shrimp Alexander, and au gratin potatoes, again was very pleased. Finished with the chocolate cake and ice cream and that too was excellent. My date upgraded for the lobster bisque and thought it was excellent, he had the filet, crab cakes, grilled asparagus and creme brulee and was happy with all. I loved both steaks but like the bone in ribeye better than the filet. With upgrades and two sodas no alcohol we got out of there with a $206 bill including tax. Well worth it and will visit again on another special occasion."

Wedge salad superb Stuffed shrimp I expected something along the size of a large scampi not a 21-35 count shrimp, please. tenderloin was ordered mrare came out med & nothing special. We were going to a show so everything was timed perfectly but never felt rushed. We had the shrimp appetizer it was delicious. Our server was Terri she was a class act! The ambiance was inviting and relaxing. After dinner we went into the lounge for a drink very friendly and comfortable. I would highly recommend Morton's."
