  • "I took my husband for a night out on the town for his birthday. We stayed at the Renaissance and played at the Casino. The dinner was wonderful! He had the Cajun Ribeye Steak and it was prepared just the way he liked it. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was delightful. My husband has raved about it to friends and family. We will surely be back again!"

  • "Not impressed at all, food was very disappointing. Chicken christopher was rubbery. The waiter did not remember my husband's hash brown potatoes, we waited 10 minutes, he was almost finished his dinner when they were brought to the table. Dinner arrived 1 minute after appetizer was done, felt very rushed. Same with dessert, very rushed. Would not return. Hyde Park steak house is a cross the street, would definitely go there next time."

  • "Folks it's Cleveland, and even though it's only an hour and a half plane ride to either Chicago or NYC the proximity has not taught anyone here how to prepare a quality piece of meat. Red, XO, Johnny's, delmonicos, Cabin Club - they all get the dollar amounts right but not the consistent high quality results you'll get at Morton's. High quality ingredients that are always cooked plated and served exactly how they should be. This is "go to Number 1" for no worries top notch execution time in and out. Best steak in Cleveland."

  • "We like to go out to eat about once a week, however we try to keep dinner for us around $100. It was our 28th Anniversary and we chose Morton's because we have always wanted to go. My wife and I found nothing negative here other than price. When we arrived we were seated immediately and everyone wished us a happy anniversary. The menues were printed with our names, date and a anniversary wish. We has a drink and shared the short rib tacos for an appetizer. We both had the 16 oz ribeye, they were cooked perfectly. We shared 2 sides and free desert. Ann our waitress was the best, she took great care of us. I would make this a monthly visit if not for the price, I am not cheap by any means but 200+ 40 tip is just too much for a meal for 2"

The food and service was outstanding, but it was the special touches that made this visit so wonderful!!!   • "The overall experience was fine. I have to two comments, when we walked in, the servers and greeters looked at us as if we were aliens because we had our 4 month old daughter with us. I actually called ahead to make sure that it would be fine for us to bring her and my King's Porterhouse was not Medium Well as was ordered. It was very pink in the middle. We did not realize it until he was already full so we didn't say anything. But other than that, Morton's is a good place to dine. We will be back!"

  • "My spouse & I enjoy going to Morton's every few months. We don't have one in our town, so we visit them out of town or take the 1 hr drive to a city with a Morton's. The several times I have been to this Morton's, we felt that the service, atmosphere, and even the food were not as good as when we go to the Pittsburgh or other Morton's. We had one of their "Special dinners", which give you 3 courses for a fixed price. I felt that as soon as we told our waiter that we were getting this, we didn't get his attention or service that we normally would get. We were never asked if we'd like a 2nd cocktail or asked if our steaks were properly cooked. The Horseradish mashed potatoes had no horseradish in them. I will probably not be going here again."

  • "4 of us went to Morton's Saturday after the 4th of July. Not crowded. Went to the bar first. Good bartender. Good cocktails. pricey - but it is Morton's. We all had their 35th Anniversary special dinner. $35 for soup/salad/ steak or salmon a side and desert. It wall all very,very good. Received great service - even though we were all doing the special dinner. Every course was excellent. Small filets were well received by all including our rib-eye eater. Will go back! (Only gripe was the the mark -up on the wine list. We bought a bottle but know what the retail is and the mark up was a good 3 or 4 times the retail.)"

  • "We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary at Morton's -Cleveland. It was our first time visiting the restaurant and will definitely not be our last. We were greeted, promptly taken to our table, and presented with Happy Anniversary menus. The waitress was above and beyond our expectations as she explained the specials and told us about the different entrees. We started with appetizers, a crab cake and mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto. Both were excellent. The main courses Cajun Ribeye and Honey-Chili Glazed Salmon were just as good. We ordered two sides which were large enough to share. We then shared a special warm dessert of "heavenly" Peach-Blueberry Crumble with vanilla icecream. I would highly recommend Morton's."

One of our most expensive meals of which I think would have been more spectacular. I probably would not go back. We chose the place based on a after dinner trip to the Horseshoe Casino."

  • "We had a group of 8 people on a Sunday evening. Very few people there but service was very slow. Food was basically good but for the price we expected more. Some people got cold food, my short rib wasn't very meaty, although very tender. My scallops, however we're excellent. First courses were good, salads and French onion soup. Overall I would say it didn't live up to expectations. We had always heard how wonderful Morton's was and it was just OK. Dinner was about $200.00 per couple and just not that special."

Morton's went the extra steps to assure a very nice birthday dinner for my wife. Pricey but I expected that and it was no more than other fine restaurants in the area, it was worth it!   • "Food and service, excellent. However, the dessert was an issue. My girlfriend found a piece of glass in her peach crisp. Actually had the glass in her mouth. Thankfully she didn't swallow it. The manager was gracious and offered to comp the entire meal. I would go back as this was obviously a fluke."

No problem there. Very noisy. The food quality was so-so for the price. My wife's short ribs were fatty and the grilled asparagus was hard and undercooked. Probably won't rush back. "
