  • "We went to Morton's for our son's 21st birthday dinner. The service was fine. We checked other reviews that said the service was bad and the food was cold. We almost didn't go, but decided to go anyway. We were not disappointed."

  • "While the name signifies excellence and the service was just that, the steak was ho-hum. Service is excellent and the bread was GREAT but the drinks are pricey ($14.), my steak was overcooked and no real flavor one way or the other. I wouldn't recommend a return visit when there are so many other great steakhouses in the area that are more moderately priced and tasty. Sorry to say."

  • "Service was slow and food was cold. My french onion soup cheese had been sitting so long the cheese wasn't "cheesy" any longer, hard and unable to separate easily with my spoon. My friend ordered a medium well filet and it came out very well done. First experience here made me not want to come back. I understand it was restaurant week which means a lot of guests but we dined at a few restaurants where the whole experience was still top notch, despite the crowd."

  • "This was my first time at Morton's. I've heard some great things about the food but was "VERY" disappointed. My husband and I had the steak and it was very dry. The mash potatoes tasted like the we're instant potatoes from a box. The Mirton's salad tasted like they just three some lettuce and dressing in a big bowl and tossed it. The best part was Stephanie our waitress was great and the keyle me pie was good. My least favorite steak place."

  • "I have dined at other Morton's but this was the first time at Charlotte. Food was fair. Caesar salads were cafeteria quality. Filet mignon steak was good. Shrimp was good. Broccoli side dish horrible. Deserts were poor. Ki lime pie was uneatable. Cheese cake was cafeteria quality. Service was fair to poor. Bread was served without a bread knife. My son had to go ask the maître d for forks for out deserts. Entre were good but not great. A $50 steak should be great. My wife is gluten free and inquired if items could be prepared gluten free. She was told that they would be prepared gluten free. Shrimp was served gluten free but the side had bread crumbs. Server never even asked how we liked the food or if it was prepared correctly."

  • "My family tried Morton's Steakhouse for the first time during restaurant week, and we all loved it. Our reservation was at 8 and we got off to a rough start since the restaurant was loud and noisy. We were all disappointed, but they made a quick turnaround. The bread is yummy (ummm...we got 4 loaves!) and the filet mignon was the best I've ever had. The cheesecake is wonderful also. I highly recommend trying this out during Restaurant Week if you get a chance! Tara is a wonderful waitress and she did a fabulous job. My family and I are already talking about going back for the next Restaurant Week in January."

  • "We had the 6oz filet mignon. I asked for well done I got a pink center. The mash potatoes were lumpy. The chocolate moose was too sweet and too small. The cheese cake was microscopic in size and looked and tasted like it was a frozen cake. Restaurant needs updating to its decor too. Plates were plain round plates silverware unimpressive. Water glasses looked like you get for a dollar in a discount store. Portion sizes overall were small. Did they reduce sizes for items because it was the restaurant week or do they normally give you miniscule portions and just charge exhorbitant prices ? Overall this was my first time at Mortons and my last. If you want a great steak and great service go to Epic Chop House in Mooresville."

  • "My friend and I decided to give Morton's a try during restaurant week. We arrived a little before 7:00. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and our waitress. Our salads were delicious and came out rather quickly. The waitress said the kitchen was fast that night and our entrees would be out shortly. They were placed on the table prior to completing half of our salads. Our waitress didn't even offer to hold them in the kitchen until we ready. Both of our steaks were over cooked, so my friend sent his back. We ordered a bottle of wine and were finishing it, but felt rushed as the staff continuously mentioned the "next wave" of customers arriving at 8:30 and 9:00. I will not eat here again. There are better steakhouses in Charlotte."

  • "This was our first time to a Morton's. Terra was great with the recommendations and service was impeccable. Our food was hot and cooked to our specifications, they even let us make changes. We prefer garlic mashed potatoes over horseradish and the kitchen made the change for us. We had a great meal. It's obviously a place that people go to for special occations and we could see why."

  • "I have been to Morton's at least once a month. The food is amazing and I get a new menu item every time I go because I have never received a bad dish. The statement you get what you pay for is correct here, it is pricy but worth every dollar you spend. The flavor of the food is unlike any restaurant you could go too. The service is outstanding and I have had a different server every time and I have always received 5 star service. The Manger remembers me and always stops by the table to check on the food and if there is anything he can do for me. Morton's is a true 5 Star restaurant, everyone deserves to treat themselves to a fantastic dinner!"

A staff member took our photo and placed it in a Birthday Card from restaurant. He also received a complimentary slice of cake with a lite candle on it!   • "Mortons is our favorite place for our special dinners. This visit was not up to its best but everyone has an off night. One of the steaks was not only overcooked and dry, but burnt. The coffee for dessert had grounds in it. They quickly made another steak that was perfect and they also made another pot of coffee. It still is our favorite. They made sure everything was wonderful and even gave us a dessert. If you have a special occasion and want to be made to feel special and have the best food you need to go for dinner at least once!"

  • "It was our wedding anniversary and Morton's went out of their way to make it special. Requested a booth with reservation and they provided us a great booth. Steven the GM was polite and helpful. Victoria our server, and others, made the dinner feel truly special with amazing service. They created that special experience that will keep us coming back for many more years and dinners. It was a special night for my wife and I. Even took home specially printed Happy anniversary menus and a picture they took of both of us enjoying our evening. Thank you Morton's. Glad to be a Landry Club Card holder."

From their fabulous chopped salad to their succulent steaks to their wonderful sides their food is among the best of the best. Service is impeccable. Tara, our concierge server, was attentive, engaging and could read our needs from across the room. We've eaten at many Morton's around the country. All outstanding. But Charlotte raises the bar a little more. The crowning end to our dinner was the baked fresh fruit compote with ice cream. Must be ordered while you're eating as it needs time for prep and bake. WOW, Bravo Morton's."
