The food was good but not great, for example some things needed seasoning our asparagus spears and spinach with mushrooms, the steaks were great however . We felt this was a dressy occasion but there were dinner guest that were casually dressed. My Cajun rib-eye was suggested to me by our server. It was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The hostess, server, sommelier and manager came by and wished us a happy anniversary...it was so kind and attentive. Food was incredible and the dessert was delicious. Highly recommended. Our wait staff took a picture of my wife and I. Presented it to us in a card signed by everyone! Details that made this night all that more special. They were able to cook up some greenbeans for him sine they had some in house...how was that for exceptional service.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMorton's Has ImprovedIt was refreshing to be spared the introductory parade of raw meats and veggies (broccoli as big as your head). While at one time such demonstrations were considered an amusing sales tool, in later years it began to feel shticky and dated. That said, my Morton's experience was as good as its always been. Others might find Morton's menu a little more accessible with the subtle menu changes made since the Landry group took over, last year.
