Both the food and wine was overpriced - no doubt necessary as the restauarnt was almost empty and not open at lunch time"

  • "One can measure a restaurant by its consistency. Mortons always is consistently great from the moment one enters until leaving the restaurant. Each of the managers, John, Michael, and Hector, take a personal interest in the customers, and the servers work as a team. We had Mike, who was great. The food, as always, was delicious and there are new entrees on the menu. We are fortunate this restaurant is in Boca!"

  • "We went with friends and ordered Cajon Ribeye which is one of my favorites. I ordered medium temperature. First time it came raw and second time they made me new one which also came raw. Our server did not take off bill and bought us an espresso. Not acceptable. Will not be back anytime soon."

  • "I took a special friend to Mortons for his birthday. We couldn't have been more happy! The staff went above and beyond to make his Birthday a very special experience. We had printed menus on the table that said Happy 75th Birthday. They took a picture of us and signed it Happy Birthday from the staff. They brought him Crème Brulee with a candle for dessert! The meal was unbelievable and perfectly cooked. Overall it was one of the happiest Birthdays he had ever had. Thank you for making it such a special and memorable evening for both of us!"

  • "We started in the bar for a drink, Mortons has an excellent Happy Hour. We started our dinner with some appetizers and salads, the spinach salad and a mushroom dish were the standouts. The ribeye steak was very flavorful, and we enjoyed the mac and cheese and the bacon steak. Adam was our waiter and made great recommendations. Dinner was paced out properly and we will be back soon!"

  • "On vacation, hoping to enjoy a first class dinner, we were quite disappointed with our experience. My husband's steak was served looking just dreadful, burned to a crisp. It was replaced taking so long that my dinner was finished when his began. My platter should have been taken back to the kitchen and served when his was ready but that was not offered. When I thought of that, no one was around to have that done. No offer was made to make up for our disappointment but after the bill was submitted, the manager told us the coffee was on him. For prices at Morton's, much better treatment is expected."

  • "I do not mind paying $120 per person for dinner. The steak was poor (at $58 per person). We ate steak at Duffy's Sports Bar on the following day for $18 per person and got a better tasting steak. I eat at lots of steak places. Haven't eaten at Morton's in four years. Now I know why. The food is just not up to par. If you are looking for steak, go elsewhere. I am not that choosey. I like almost any steak at any steak restaurant. I eat steak out at least 52 times a year. I have never complained before. This was just bad. I should add that our waiter was superb, friendly, and understanding. The greeter was far from friendly. I can't believe that there were 20+ empty tables and we had to wait to be seated even with a reservation."

  • "You're assuming I enjoyed it - I didn't. First, I wrote a "review" yesterday - how many do you want??? It was way too noisy, EVERYTHING was ala carte -- and I sincerely felt the prices were too high. I expected to pay about $200 for dinner for two ladies and a 10-year-old - it was nearly $300! I had the pork chops (not cooked medium well as I'd asked) a glass of milk and a cup of coffee. Period, My guest had a small steak, 2 glasses of wine, the berry dessert & cappuccino, and the 10-year-old had Alaskan king crab, and 2 glasses of Sprite. We had potatoes & broccoli for the table. That was it. I think there were more staff than customers, though they were all pleasant, helpful and polite."

The service was far from what you would expect from quality restaurant. We even had to wait several minutes from the time we got our coffee to receiving spoons. I had invited two guests and they also were disappointed. I would not recommend this Morton's. They need to get their act together before I would consider returning."

  • "We have eaten many times at Morton's in Boca Raton over the past 8 years. The thing that keeps bringing us back week after week is the quality of he food - excellent steaks and the people are top notch. Chef Joe does a great job of handling 200-300 dinners a night, keeping the food moving but not rushing the diners. Hector, Michael and John are great and the staff is first rate. Always a pleasure to dine there. Out favorite is the steak and seafood special with sides of grilled aspergus and hash brown potatoes with a chocolate suffle for desert. You can't go wrong there. Very good wine list and Hector will help you find some hidden gems. Top steakhouses in the area have very good food but it's the people at Mortons that will win you over."

  • "We are regulars at Mortons and are not big spenders. What is different is even though we are not big spenders, we are treated as valued guests from the moment we arrive until we leave. We love the outstanding food and the variety of choices, and the service from the beginning to the end is the best. As an example, we dined at Mortons on a Saturday and they were busy. Yet, we were warmly greeted by the hostess, were escorted to our table by the manager, John, were warmly greeted by Hector, and had outstanding service from Alberto and the others on the Morton's team. Other servers stopped by When we were ready to leave, Hector ran over to move the table. The food as always was great. Mortons to us is outstanding in every respect."
