  • "We had never been to Morton's and decided to give it a try over LA Dine week. The restaurant was attractive a bit loud though, Service was wonderful from the hostess to each waiter however the food was really lacking particularly for an expensive restaurant. Our salads were weak and watery when we complained they told us they would look into it. For the main course the steak was great however all the side dishes were bland and greasy, the side dishes really reminded me of something you would get at a cheap buffet. Dessert was again nothing special, overall it was very disappointing and we would not go back. Mastro's one of our favorite steak places is about the same price point and is much better."

  • "Celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary when we walked in the door! The menu had our names on it! We've been to Morton's before and the food did not disappoint. The sides were large enough that we shared them and had plenty to take home. What made this dining experience great was the EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE we received. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter (OUTSTANDING!) made sure our experience was memorable. I would highly recommend this location of Morton's!"

  • "I LOVE Morton's and am a frequent patron. This visit however was quite disappointing. The food was delicious, but as it should be for the price. However, the service was awful. We had to ask several times for our waters to be re-filled and had to ask for bread and butter maybe 3 times?! (Just to get one loaf!) Our waitress was even a tad rude. I will think I'll be taking a Morton's break for a bit, will try some of the other steakhouses in LA..."

  • "The horseradish mashed potatoes was unpalatable. I have achalasia and it gave me chest pains all night. They should've also had an alternative starch for their anniversary special menu. The tacos and the scallop appetizers had a little spice, which was too hot for our 97 year old guest. We should've been warned. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a lovely lemon souffle...that was exceptional."

  • "We were celebrating our 28th anniversary & had never been to Morton's. We had a wonderful meal and were looking forward to a delicious dessert. When the server told us that dessert would be "on him", we didn't ask what it would be, but trusted him. He brought out a lemon souffle that was horrible! It had no lemon taste and was overly eggy. Not even sweet eggy!! We almost felt that we were "cheated" out of being able to pick from the wonderful dessert list, cuz he was so quick to let us know that the dessert was being comped. A suggestion would be for the server to have mentioned what the free dessert will be and to see if we would be ok with it. That left a bad taste in our mouths!! Otherwise, the food and service was impeccable!"

  • "Morton's always has the best steak cooked to perfection. (I like mine very rare and my husband likes his medium well. So we have both ends of the spectrum.) This time we tried the horseradish mashed potatoes. The best! The atmosphere changes with your mood. Quiet and romantic or vibrant and fun, depending on what you want."

  • "First time at this location. brought friends for lobster special. Dining room was chaotic. Salad not as fresh as other locations. Parking price too steep to make it a regular stop even though I stay close by. The staff was really wonderful there were just too many people in a small place with tables jammed really close together. I will give it another try when its not a sat abd I can find street parking or walk."

  • "I am a steak lover. Therefore, I have eaten at the top steakhouse in Beverly Hills and in the surrounding cities. The Steak at Morton's is very good, but it was not excellent. If you spend $60 for a Steak, you expect it to be wonderful and not just good. I have found that the other Steakhouses (Flemming's, Ruth Chris, Lawyers, etc.) have amazing cuts of beef that are well worth the price. In addition, the side dishes and ambience tend to be better at the other steakhouses."

  • "It was my first visit at Morton's, but everything was nice. It was my first visit at Morton's and I told it the server, so he recommended me several dishes, I ordered the bone-in rib eye steak, my wife had the summer special dinner course. Both tasted so good and would highly recommend to go there if you are looking for a good steak dinner. Inside the restaurant, it is not the most quiet place, but still able to talk to each other without being interrupted by other noises. The service was also very good, a floor manager kind of guy was watching around and making sure everything is ok. This restaurant became one of our "need to go again" place."

  • "I've eaten at the Beverly Hills Morton's many times but this time was on Father's Day. Anticipating a big crowd, they put extra tables in the room and it made the experience terribly uncomfortable. The servers had trouble moving around the narrow isles, the noise level was unbearable; we had to shout to each other at our table to be heard. based on my Father's Day experience, I recommend staying out of this restaurant on any holiday where a large crowd is expected."

  • "It could've been a 5 star review but the service was so slow that it was a 3 star. I definitely take into consideration that it was Father's Day and it was a busy dinner time. But if this restaurant wants a 5 star, their service should be excellent. Maybe hire more staff on this special day since they know it'll be a busy night. We waited for our entree for 45 minutes. How is that possible?? If I'm paying a good chunk of money to spend it here on a special occasion, I expect excellent service. Like I said, I've had better service here before. To top it off, our server messed up on our order."

  • "My boyfriend surprised me for mothers day but service wasn't at all what we expected. The waitress was knowledgable about the menu and offered great options. However we were unpleasantly surprised with the food! I asked a gentleman as he passed to get a manager, but the waitress seemed disturbed by our request as of if it was her fault. The manager replaced it, but at this point it was no going back to enjoyable time. The quality of service expected at Mortons was received and was disheartening to say the least. We have eaten at many top steakhouses and never received such poor service or quality. I guess for us Mortons is off our list. Maybe they were having an off night but won't pay $245 for another chance."

  • "Loved their filet mignon, my friend/family loved their dishes as well. I gave 4 stats for food for the side dishes: Mac & cheese, garlic mashed potatoes because I wasn't a fan. My family liked them tho :). This place has an old Hollywood feel to it. For me, it's pricey, so I would go here on a special occasion, but definitely loved the filet!"

  • "I am a huge fan of Morton's, it is by far my favorite steakhouse. On this visit I decided to branch out from my usual filet and tried the short ribs and scallops. The short ribs were amazing, I would definitely have them again. The scallops on the other hand, awful. They overcooked them the first time and were kind enough to take them back and cook me new ones. The second round was better, but still disappointing for Morton's. I wouldn't get them again. The parmesan truffle fries were amazing, as was the mac & cheese. "

  • "We had a new server, but you wouldn't know it, if he hadn't mentioned it. He was well trained and knew his job. There are other places that serve good steaks too. However, Morton's doesn't rush you, they want you to savor the experience It's a laid back feel, plus you don't hear the conversations at the other tables. Morton's gives is customers their money's worth."

  • "It was very impressive to have my 9th wedding anniversary be special and romantic. The foods were marvelous, and the services were excellent. Especially thank you very much for Dan's great service and the manager's photo event. My wife was also very happy for the dining. Frankly, neither my wife nor I could find any problem that should be addressed at Morton's. I'd like to have dinner at Morton's if I have a chance to celebrate another thing. Thank you very much."

Service was excellent, with a number of people providing prompt service of drinks and food. The food was great as usual (the Cajun Ribeye is my favorite steak from ALL restaurants I've visited).   • "I was very disappointed all around with the experience and the food. One of our steaks was cold and my nearly $90 rib eye was just "okay". For that price point, I expect at least "good" steak. Also, our server seemed irritated when I asked what the Chefs specials were. He wasn't passionate about the menu (or being there in general) and the wait times between courses and check were way too long."

  • "Here we are at an expensive restaurant that is incredibly noisy and the food is mediocre at best. The server was very nice, but the kitchen was extremely slow. Truly the best part of the meal was the salad. Unusual for a steak place. We had the scallops which were overdone. They were wrapped in bacon which was rubbery. The steaks were OK but just OK. The sides were good, but the desserts were not worth the calories. All in all, it was a disappointing dining experience."

  • "I personally LOVE Morton's. Consistently good food and if you do one of their frequent set menu's it is even quite a good value for your money. The steak is cooked perfectly and I LOVE the crab cakes. A little heavy handed with the salt, but that is my only criticism. Will continue to be a loyal patron!!!"

  • "Had a wonderful Birthday dinner with family. Service is fabulous! Could have definitely brought the kids, but glad we didn't! The steaks were amazing, sides were delicious, and the soufflé! Wow! The service and welcome is beyond any LA restaurant!"
