  • "We had a party of eight for a celebratory dinner, dining late on a Thursday there were only a few other diners so the service was perfect. Both the hot and fold seafood platters were gobbled up quickly. Everyone's beef was excellent: two porterhouse for two, three filet mignons. One character had the fish tacos, which he enjoyed because he poached beef from the others. The sides were a all great as were the deserts. You really couldn't ask for a better meal. "

  • "It's been a while since I've gone to a Morton's steakhouse. I had the spinach salad, bacon wrapped scallops, broccoli side and a small filet medium rare and the molten chocolate cake. The petite Syrah was great. Everything was good but for a place where the steak is king, it was slightly overdone - good but not great. Service was really good. I think if I want steak I will go elsewhere."

  • "We have been at this location twice before. We arrived 7:30 on Tuesday March, 18 and was greeted by a wonderful host. After being seated we actually sat for 9 minutes before we met our server this was only after the frazzled looks on our faces that a manager happened to see,,, He came over and asked were we ok, I was like ummm a server and a drink would be nice.. I explained that sitting for 9 minutes in a 5 star restaurant before meeting a server was unacceptable. Being the only African Americans in the whole dining area we did not want to think this was the issue. The managers took care of us. Although we ended up having a nice night my boyfriend and I probably wont return to Mortons.. That experience left a bad taste in our mouths. :/"

  • "Dinner and service were good. The steaks were tender and well-prepared, but our meals were otherwise unexceptional. Ordering conservatively and not extravagantly (one glass of wine and one dessert), our bill for two people was $170. Nothing about our experience justifies that price from the customer's point of view. If you don't mind that, it's a fine place to dine."

Decoration is magnificent, food is out of this word, desserts, drinks, bread. Everything I like when I dine in one of your locations. I always recommend Morton's as my first choice for dinner."

  • "The food was fantastic, the wine paired very well, and we left so stuffed we had to be rolled out to the car. We even took some sides home that we couldn't get to. Why did this review downgrade service and ambience? It took a while before they took our orders (between 15-20 minutes). Also, I order my steak in a particular way so I typically expect the waiter or food runner to wait until I cut into it to ask how it is and ensure it's cooked right. In this case it was perfect, but it does happen to the best. Also, the ambience is one large open room with tables fairly close to each other. One table less would really improve the flow. Overall, a great experience. I won't hesitate to go back and I would encourage others to go as well."

  • "Was going to Ray's but decided on old relieable Morton's for great food and atomosphere. However was disappointed with Jumb Shrimp Cocktails ordered, both mine and my date not peeled of shell properly and biting into shrimp we both got shells, more concerning was when ask by maanager how were they, I responsed that we both bit into shell and his response was guess they didn't peel them enough. I have always recieved great food and great service at Morton's but was extremely dissappointed with that response and reaction to issue. Not what I expect from 5 star resturant. Whould have given a 5 star rating if not for that incident, was also embarassed for date pulling shells out of her mouth. Unacceptable.at Morton's Prices and quality."

  • "I was excited to eat at Morton's because of the good reviews I have heard from friends. I have been dying to try the seafood platter appetizer, but I thought it was small for the price. I also ordered the filet and lobster special, which was small and flavorless. My boyfriend got the ribeye which he loved, thankfully because we paid $200 for the meal. I feel that I have had a better meal at outback, which is saying a lot!"

  • "From the time we walked in the service was impeccable.They offered to take our coats, and took us to our booth, and so we didn't have to "scoot in" the booth, the hostess move the table out so we could just walk in. The food service was quick, and the food was delicious. The ribeye was seasoned well, and the creamed corn was the best I've ever had."

  • "We were so excited about finally going to the famous Morton's Steakhouse. We are steak LOVERS! The steak was okay, not the best. We usually get some type of steak and lobster combo or add on, Morton's did not offer anything like that so my husband had to get a steak meal and main lobster meal separate. This meant spending $80 for a lobster in addition to the over $50 steak. The small lobster did not look like it went with the huge claws on the plate. The food that was exceptional wasn't even the steak. It was my husband's birthday (I put that on the reservation), and nothing was offered. There were four of us dining and for the almost $500 we spent the steak was only mediocre. My husband said he would have rather went to Outback. lol"

The only thing we didn't like is, when you first arrive a lady told us to wait and she went to back. After 8mns someone called her, and she completely forgot that she told us to wait. We didn't let that ruin our night. My wife and I were really happy, and we had a beautiful night"

  • "Thought I would go out for a special meal before being snowed in, instead I have confirmed that I considered the meal anything but special. First, the steaks, cooked as requested but the filet was a bit chewy for filet. The ribeye had a large vein of fat and some gristle. Not what you would expect for the price. The wild mushroom starter to share was overly oily and the wild mushrooms covered two slices of toast making the entire starter look a little larger than it actually was. Altogether incredibly average for a place that promotes itself as a special occasion restaurant."

  • "My 16 ounce rib eye steak was cooked "medium." The outside had a nice grilled texture and the center was pink but without any red juice. It tasted great, like a prime steak should. We ordered steamed spinach and asparagus, and a side-order of mushrooms. The spinach tasted like average steamed spinach. The asparagus spears were as large as Cuban cigars and had no flavor. The mushrooms were flavorful and perfectly prepared. The steak and mushrooms were the high points of the meal. The size of the asparagus spears was a mystery to me; I favor smaller, more tender spears. The ambiance was nice, with plenty of room between the tables and booths. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. This is a fine place for a steak dinner."

She was given a special menu for her birthday, and digital pictures of her and her date. We were very happy with the way she was made to feel special for this occasion. We also enjoyed the food as this restaurant is famous for the seafood and steak. Overall enjoyable experience."

  • "I haven't been to Morton's in 10 years, but it was actually better than I remember. The food was great, the service was also excellent. I was there to celebrate my daughters birthday. She had never been to an upscale steakhouse. The little touches they included made it extra special. They printed menus that said "Happy Birthday" on top, they gave her a free dessert with a candle and they also took a picture of our whole table and gave us copies. She felt very special. Thank you Morton's for making our celebration fantastic!!!"

  • "I have been going to Mortons Steakhouse for many years and they have always been my special occasion choice. However, I regret to say that the quality of the food is not the same as before -- you may get a great steak one day and next time the steak tastes tenderized. The soufflé I had was overcooked and heavy with the binder used (probably corn starch or flour); the French onion soup was too salty and came close to the canned version. This is unfortunate because the restaurant continues to be an expensive place to go to.There are a lot of great steakhouses now which are more moderately priced. I never thought I would say this but my dinner at the Crystal City Ruth Chris steakhouse was outstanding, and my recent Morton dinner not."

  • "I hadn't been to Morton's in about a year and was expecting the usual wonderful experience. There was no hostess to greet us and only 3 other tables eating at 7:30pm. I should have taken those two things as a sign of the decline of the restaurant, but proceeded to my meal anyway. The unpolished and mediocre service combined with the overdressed salad and undercooked, fatty steaks confirmed that I won't be back. Add to it the fact that only 2 - 3 other tables were seated while we were there (meaning the place was deserted) and the hostess stand was still empty when we left says this place is on the outs. I am very sad, as I always looked forward to a good steak at Morton's. Guess I will head to Capital Grill going forward."

  • "We have been coming to Morton's for Christmas Eve with the family members who are in town for several years. It has been great every year we have done it. Expensive yes but we always know we will get great food and friendly, attentive service. Hope we can keep it up for several more."
