Morton's The Steakhouse - BaltimoreNobody does filet like Morton's!Morton's is our special "treat night out" restaurant of choice. We drive over an hour to get there - and it is ALWAYS worth the drive. The food is superb, the service gracious and very professional.
Their "Summer Special" is a real treat - perfect portions and lots of choices.
This restaurant is a Baltimore gem.

We had a perfectly behaved 3 year-old with us, and nobody gave us a hard time. Food was great, especially the short ribs. We received a table photo and a menu congratulating our daughter -- sounds a little hokey, but actually a very nice touch and a great keepsake.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMVery Good Birthday DinnerThe food, was great (lobster not hot, but cool) that was the only reason the food didn't get outstanding, filet excellent, Wedge huge & delicious, escargot decent. we are used to pricey steak houses, but the only thing that was truly over the top was a $15 martini that did not fill the glass. Service wonderful, atmosphere great, very romantic. I would go back again and recommend to a friend. The maitre'd and waiter read my special comments about celebrating our 11th anniversary. I said that the 10th was paper and the 11th was meat. Our waiter, Alton, repeated that to us and my girlfriend didn't know I made the comment when I made the reservation, so she thought it was pretty funny. They put.our.names.on special menus and were very attentive. Considerable remodeling was done since I visited last, a few years ago, which has created a nicer atmosphere. Space is roomier yet at the same time the locale feels cozy and relaxing.
The quality of service and food was just as good I remember albeit on the pricey side. The Malbec was super and steaks cooked exactly the way we asked. And for the grand finale we had a chocolate lava cake that made my wife’s day. Mine too.

You'll see some suits and ties for business dinners, and you'll see some t-shirts and shorts on people heading to or from the ballpark. Morton's does a great job of making everyone feel welcome. The newly-renovated restaurant is beautiful and the menu has been expanded beyond the typical "steakhouse card" to include more fish, poultry, and other options for those not wanting a steak. The Bone-in Ribeye is awesome - as is the cajun ribeye. Delicious sides and awesome desserts -try the Grand Marnier soufflet! The steaks were awesome and my daughter's salmon was excellent. The sides were tasty, especially the corn. The decor' was beautiful, restaurant was immaculate, and service was very good.
