  • "So part of this is that I am a landry's club member (the mortons loyalty club). I'm supposed to get preferred seating -- was placed next to the kitchen. It took a good twenty minutes for our server to show up to take drink order. I'm not a hater, and the food was fine, but part of the deal with a $100 pp dinner is great service. so.... "meh". I don't hate em, and i'll be back. but my loyalty is damaged."

  • "Service and ambience outstanding. Broiled Sea Scallops were excellent. Unfortunately, that cannot be said for the rest of the meal. The bone-in filet, while tender, was more bone than filet. The sauteed spinach with button mushrooms should have been named button mushrooms with a little spinach...there were far too many mushrooms and very little spinach. The Bacon Onion Macaroni and Cheese was actually the star of the meal. While it sounds a little too much, the flavors blend well and the dish is quite staisfying. However, one does ot go to Morton's for their sides. Dessert, Raspberry Souffle and Key Lime Pie, were good. I will go to Morton's again; I just will not order the bone-in filet or sauteed spinach with button mushrooms."

  • "Caesar salad was just poorly seasoned & the plank croutons tasted like melba toast--literally tasteless. Truffle oil on matchstick potatoes tasted like lighter fluid--and I like truffles & their oil. Stuffed shrimp were over cooked and dry and quite bland on their own. The filet was cooked perfectly and very good, although not filet tender. The bacon wrapped scallops were nicely cooked but just had nothing to offer--the bacon was too rare and not very smoky. The carrot cake was non descript, which I thought unusual for carrot cake--even a bad one is still good! At best the food was edible but in no way at the price point nor standard of quality I think of when I think Morton's."

Confetti covered part of the table, and the floor manager stopped by to take our picture which he then placed in a card to give us along with specialized menus to take home.   • "If you are a meat and potatoes person, this steakhouse is a great choice for a fine dining experience. The waiter was very professional and provided excellent service. If someone from the staff walked by the table, they did not hesitate to refill your wine glass or ask if you needed anything. Ambiance was great, decor was first class, and lighting in the restaurant was just enough to be romantic and still be able read the menu. Overall, excellent dining experience!"

We left being disappointed and unsatisfied with the whole experience. The initial greeting was great, the atmosphere nice. The food lacked flavor, the waiter lacked attention and the prices were not worth the quality of food we were served."

Seriously, what a treat to dine at this Morton's property, it was not our first trip here nor will it be our last ! We celebrate all of our special occasions here and are never disappointed, each time we try a different menu item and each time, its cooked to perfection and delivered to our table with great presentation and fine service. We no longer wait for a special occasion to come here, we just decide to treat ourselves for no reason other than we want to experience the great food ! !   • "We went to Morton's on Valentine's Day. We were seated immediately upon entering and our assigned waiter was at the table in less than a minute. The food was delicious and the wine list extensive. I had the Valentine's Day special, filet and lobster tail, and my wife had a filet with shrimp and scallops. We split a very tasty Creme Brulee as we finished off our bottle of very rich Valentin Bianchi Cabernet from Argentina. The food was perfectly prepared and presented piping hot. Be careful about the bread, it's huge and it's tasty and can ruin your appetite if you let it! On the not so good side, our table was small and our check was big! About $200 without tip. But, it's nice to splurge on great food every once in a while."

  • "For this to be on Valentine's Day (a special occasion), the mood was anything but romantic. I asked about a more favorable seating arrangement to the manager. He gave me the ole spill, its Valentine's Day, we are busy...moving on! The food arrived; I'm not going to discuss the length of the wait, but let's say it wasn't fairly quick (ok, it’s Valentine's Day). We continued to talk as a group and make the best of our time together, but it was noted how much room was still in the dining area. The food was good, no complaints but nothing dazzling. The one thing I do want to mention is, as the crowd died down, the noise low digressed and we were finally able to talk amongst ourselves."

Received the wrong meal, bread crumbs/food scraps/detritus not cleared from the tablecloth between courses, no follow up during the meal ("everything okay? would you like some more...?"). The rest of the evening was good; nice ambiance, low noise level, good food, but I expected a little more, especially at those prices. Will I be back? Probably not, especially not with a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse just down the street, asking for my patronage."

  • "Our table, though reserved several weeks in advance, was placed in the back of one of their overflow rooms, next to the emergency exit. Ambiance immediately took a back seat. My wife's filet was much closer to rare than to medium. We flagged down our server, who took one look at the filet, got another plate, and advised her to, "please continue to enjoy the rest of your meal, and I will take this back." When it returned, it was now at lot closer to "well done" than to medium. My wife reported that it was "fine", after that....but we didn't come to Morton's on Valentines Day for a "fine" steak, and our bill certainly didn't reflect a "fine" dinner. Our experience was "fine", but we didn't come for "fine"."

Low lit but not dim or dreary, attentive table service, expansive wine and spirits selection, steaks and sides done at an extremely high level. Their seafood is exceptional as well, we had an Ahi Tuna dish with avocado and pico de gallo that was amazing. Start to finish it was a great experience. It isn't for every budget but you definitely see where your money is going."

Not impressed with the vegetables either, we had the broccoli and the potato and onions, could have been better. The asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes were served hot. We enjoyed the dark cozy atmosphere and having the place to ourselves. The night was slow since it was the dead of winter and restaurant week was the week prior. Highly recommend this restaurant and would revisit if the opportunity presents itself."
