  • "We had lots of fun celebrating my son's 40th birthday, great food and exceptional service (as always)."

  • "Hostess was warm and friendly, we went for HH but she never came over to ask if we were ready for a table. No one returned to inquire how the food was OR if we'd like another beer or apps. I had to flag down staff to get a bill. I was so disappointed with the service and it was slow."

  • "So part of this is that I am a landry's club member (the mortons loyalty club). I'm supposed to get preferred seating -- was placed next to the kitchen. It took a good twenty minutes for our server to show up to take drink order. I'm not a hater, and the food was fine, but part of the deal with a $100 pp dinner is great service. so.... "meh". I don't hate em, and i'll be back. but my loyalty is damaged."

  • "Service and ambience outstanding. Broiled Sea Scallops were excellent. Unfortunately, that cannot be said for the rest of the meal. The bone-in filet, while tender, was more bone than filet. The sauteed spinach with button mushrooms should have been named button mushrooms with a little spinach...there were far too many mushrooms and very little spinach. The Bacon Onion Macaroni and Cheese was actually the star of the meal. While it sounds a little too much, the flavors blend well and the dish is quite staisfying. However, one does ot go to Morton's for their sides. Dessert, Raspberry Souffle and Key Lime Pie, were good. I will go to Morton's again; I just will not order the bone-in filet or sauteed spinach with button mushrooms."

  • "This is the only restaurant that provided birthday greetings from ever employee we came in contact with, free dessert?, AND a free photo in celebration of my Dad's 76th birthday. A refreshing experience."

  • "The food and service was excellent. I can't wait to get back to have the Prosciutto wrapped halibut. Our waiter was most gracious and very knowlegae of the menu. It was just a nice time overall."
    Dined on 4/4/2014
  • "The food and service was wonderful. If you're wanting great food and reasonable prices try the happy hour bar menu. It was perfect for me as I was in town for a convention. I had the filet trio and wedge salad. It was excellent."

  • "Caesar salad was just poorly seasoned & the plank croutons tasted like melba toast--literally tasteless. Truffle oil on matchstick potatoes tasted like lighter fluid--and I like truffles & their oil. Stuffed shrimp were over cooked and dry and quite bland on their own. The filet was cooked perfectly and very good, although not filet tender. The bacon wrapped scallops were nicely cooked but just had nothing to offer--the bacon was too rare and not very smoky. The carrot cake was non descript, which I thought unusual for carrot cake--even a bad one is still good! At best the food was edible but in no way at the price point nor standard of quality I think of when I think Morton's."

  • "We really didn't go because of a special occasion, we just like Mortons, hadn't been in years, so thought we would go, we used to go to Tyson Corners, but that closed, so this is as close to us as we could get."

  • "They made our anniversary very specialized and an overall wonderful experience. Confetti covered part of the table, and the floor manager stopped by to take our picture which he then placed in a card to give us along with specialized menus to take home. To top that, the food was delicious and well prepared."

  • "We chose Morton's for a birthday celebration. The waiter was attentive and the food was hot and delicious. Too expensive to dine at on a regular basis, but perfect for a once a year dinner."

  • "If you are a meat and potatoes person, this steakhouse is a great choice for a fine dining experience. The waiter was very professional and provided excellent service. If someone from the staff walked by the table, they did not hesitate to refill your wine glass or ask if you needed anything. Ambiance was great, decor was first class, and lighting in the restaurant was just enough to be romantic and still be able read the menu. Overall, excellent dining experience!"

  • "My wife and I were excited to try this restaurant. We had dined at Ruth's Chris many times before and looked forward to Morton's being as good, if not better. We left being disappointed and unsatisfied with the whole experience. The initial greeting was great, the atmosphere nice. The food lacked flavor, the waiter lacked attention and the prices were not worth the quality of food we were served."

  • "A coworker suggested this restaurant and I was excited to set a reservation for my husband's birthday dinner. The service was great! Smiles, greetings, and individualized care. The menus had his name and the table was decorated to suit the occasion. The food was delightful."

  • "The Crystal City Morton's recently started opening for lunch on Fridays, so I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint--as in the evenings, great food and outstanding service. I will definitely be keeping it in mind for business lunches and Fridays that I just feel like treating myself."

  • "Mortons in Crystal City, VA provided a terrific fine dining experience. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, the wait staff knowledgeable and friendly, and overall atmosphere was elegant and refined. I had the filet mignon and my wife had crab stuffed shrimp...both were exquisite. For dessert, she had the chocolate lava cake and I the apple crisp. Don't skip dessert!"

  • "Why, because my wife and I want to keep the great food and service all for ourselves !! Seriously, what a treat to dine at this Morton's property, it was not our first trip here nor will it be our last ! We celebrate all of our special occasions here and are never disappointed, each time we try a different menu item and each time, its cooked to perfection and delivered to our table with great presentation and fine service. We no longer wait for a special occasion to come here, we just decide to treat ourselves for no reason other than we want to experience the great food ! ! Thanks to the entire staff for a great meal and great service !"

  • "I was not pleased that Mortont has removed the presentation of their different meats from the menu. That is the main reason why I go to Morton's. I don't think I will be going back."

  • "First time here and won't be the last. I felt as though I was a regular, everyone was so friendly. Service great - even the cooks said hi when I walked by. Classy place with attractive people."

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful evening. We also had our 13 month old with us and they were very attentive to our needs with the little one. I want to thank them for helping make us a wonderful Valentines evening!"

  • "We went to Morton's on Valentine's Day. We were seated immediately upon entering and our assigned waiter was at the table in less than a minute. The food was delicious and the wine list extensive. I had the Valentine's Day special, filet and lobster tail, and my wife had a filet with shrimp and scallops. We split a very tasty Creme Brulee as we finished off our bottle of very rich Valentin Bianchi Cabernet from Argentina. The food was perfectly prepared and presented piping hot. Be careful about the bread, it's huge and it's tasty and can ruin your appetite if you let it! On the not so good side, our table was small and our check was big! About $200 without tip. But, it's nice to splurge on great food every once in a while."

  • "For this to be on Valentine's Day (a special occasion), the mood was anything but romantic. I asked about a more favorable seating arrangement to the manager. He gave me the ole spill, its Valentine's Day, we are busy...moving on! The food arrived; I'm not going to discuss the length of the wait, but let's say it wasn't fairly quick (ok, it’s Valentine's Day). We continued to talk as a group and make the best of our time together, but it was noted how much room was still in the dining area. The food was good, no complaints but nothing dazzling. The one thing I do want to mention is, as the crowd died down, the noise low digressed and we were finally able to talk amongst ourselves."

  • "The food was very good. The service was excellent. It was a bit loud, which was fine; however, there were more children than I am accustomed to in a Morton's on a weekend night."
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "I expected much more of the service at Morton's. Received the wrong meal, bread crumbs/food scraps/detritus not cleared from the tablecloth between courses, no follow up during the meal ("everything okay? would you like some more...?"). The rest of the evening was good; nice ambiance, low noise level, good food, but I expected a little more, especially at those prices. Will I be back? Probably not, especially not with a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse just down the street, asking for my patronage."

  • "Our table, though reserved several weeks in advance, was placed in the back of one of their overflow rooms, next to the emergency exit. Ambiance immediately took a back seat. My wife's filet was much closer to rare than to medium. We flagged down our server, who took one look at the filet, got another plate, and advised her to, "please continue to enjoy the rest of your meal, and I will take this back." When it returned, it was now at lot closer to "well done" than to medium. My wife reported that it was "fine", after that....but we didn't come to Morton's on Valentines Day for a "fine" steak, and our bill certainly didn't reflect a "fine" dinner. Our experience was "fine", but we didn't come for "fine"."

  • "I got the New York strip and although it was cooked to a prefect medium rare, the outside was burnt, and that's all I could taste while trying to enjoy my $57 steak. My wife lived her shrimp scampi, I was just very disappointed with my steak..."

  • "Valentine's Day dinner was made that much more special thanks to Greg, our awesome server! Thank you Morton's and Greg.."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "The food was unsurpassed. It is a rare place that one can order a steak "rare" and actually get rare. Mortons managed, with ease. Fantastic selection, wonderful and well-prepared food... this place gets a big WIN from me."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "It was exactly as you would expect a high quality steak place to be. Low lit but not dim or dreary, attentive table service, expansive wine and spirits selection, steaks and sides done at an extremely high level. Their seafood is exceptional as well, we had an Ahi Tuna dish with avocado and pico de gallo that was amazing. Start to finish it was a great experience. It isn't for every budget but you definitely see where your money is going."

  • "The team was great and the service was top notch! Look forward to going back again soon!"
    Dined on 2/10/2014
  • "Everything just seemed to be off. Getting to our table was slow, unused wine glasses left at the table, food was late (table next to us, seated after us got their food first and almost done with their dinner before we got our food), bathroom was dirty."
    Dined on 2/9/2014
  • "service was impecible; Mash potatoes were too dry; However, salads, entrees and broccoli side were great. Nice to find a reasonable valet parking charge ($5) on a Sunday evening"
    Dined on 2/9/2014
  • "Both mine and my wife's steaks were undercooked, they were both sent back, my wife's was still undercooked but edible I guess. Mine was better. Not impressed with the vegetables either, we had the broccoli and the potato and onions, could have been better. The best part of the meal was the bread they brought out before dinner, very good, moist, soft, warm."

  • "Morton's is a TRUE DINING EXPERIENCE. It begins with unsurpassed service, an almost overwhelming wine list (don't be ashamed to ask for recommendations - and I will attest that the senior servers recommendation was just what we wanted), and outstanding food - perfect in preparation and presentation. Dining at Morton's sets the benchmark for an enjoyable night out."

  • "Went on a Friday night. Great atmosphere and nice waitress, food was excellent. However service was very slow. Waited 30 minutes for main course. Mixed drink was very small. If service was faster, would've give a five star review."

  • "This pricy restaurant did not disappoint. Our party of four each enjoyed different steaks cooked to perfection. The sides were big enough to share. The asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes were served hot. We enjoyed the dark cozy atmosphere and having the place to ourselves. The night was slow since it was the dead of winter and restaurant week was the week prior. Highly recommend this restaurant and would revisit if the opportunity presents itself."
