Private Party Facilities: Set gently back from Capitol Hill, shaded by flowering trees and shrubs, the Morrison-Clark Restaurant, occupying the former drawing room of the original townhome built in 1864, offers an elegant, timeless option among Washington DC event sites. The full service kitchen provides distinctive menus for events ranging from informal receptions to seated formal dinners. The main dining room, The Ruby Room, with its gilded mirrors, crystal chandeliers and marble fireplaces, is an ideal setting for dinners for up to 50 people or receptions for up to 70. The more casual Club Lounge can accommodate up to 50 guests for pre-dinner cocktails or a semi private reception. Combined, the Club Lounge and Ruby Room can accommodate up to 120 people for a standing Hors D’oeuvres reception. For more intimate affairs, the completely private Garden Room can seat up to 16 people.
