  • "I have been to the Morris Tap and Grill several times and it does not disappoint. The chef, who makes a point to walk around the restaurant saying hello to guests and getting feedback, get some very unique flavors as he experiments with many types of beer. There is a huge selection of beer too. Of course any other liquor is there as well. Very casual, almost rustic, but well done. Food is outstanding for a casual dinner. It is not elegant."

  • "This is now our 5th time going to Morris Tap and Grill, each time we go we have to force our self to try something new since each dish we have had we want to keep going back to over and over again. The service is amazing with very courteous and knowledgeable staff. When asked for recommendations the faces of our waiter light up when describing their favorite parts of these exciting dishes. The desert cart is always a guilty pleasure no matter how good we want to be we always cave in to try one of the outstanding and decadent deserts."

  • "Lots of fun! Huge menu of really fun food. This is not foodie nonsense, but regular food creatively prepared. Really big menu. All 6 lof us loved everything we ordered. Creative drinks, too. They have really creative beer cocktails. Loved the food, loved the huge beer menu. Really fun ambiance in a nice setting. We'll be going back. I wish it were closer - we'd be there weekly."

  • "This was our first time at Morris tap and grill. We were very pleased with our experience. We felt welcome as soon as we entered the resturant. We were seated right away with no problem. Our waiter was giuseppe. He was more than helpful with everything we had questions about. He knew the menu very well. His recommendations were right on spot. I highly recommend that if you dine here to recommend him as your server. By far the best server around. Food selection was very good. Not too much but too little. Good variety to choose from. Highly recommended for the venturous eater. Will be going back in the near future."

  • "The noise level at 6:30 on a Sunday was way up there. I know it's family dining time but it was difficult to talk and be heard across the table. The menu had some interesting twists on standard fare but the salad dressings were much too acidic and burned a little and there was too much dressing overall. The burger was good, the fries fair. The stacked taco salad was greasy and the beans dry. Did not bother with dessert or coffee. Will not be going back."

  • "We have become frequent patrons of Eric's restaurant because it is reasonable and a little inventive compared to all the other restaurants in this area. I recommend reservations for the Tree Room if you don't have children since it has a better atmosphere than the family style room. Give it a try and do meet the chef, he is personable and gracious!"

  • "Catching up with my high school friend and her husband. Had been to MTG once before and loved it, so thought it would work. Did not disappoint...waitress gave us time to catch up and did not rush us to order...which was very nice! Apps, food and dessert...all were wonderful! Will go back for sure!"

  • "Been here multiple times, have had good and terrible experiences. This time food was good, server was great! Made a reservation, still waited about 15 minutes for a table. They had forced valet parking and the parking attendant left our window rolled down :( For the appetizer had the Thai peanut flatbread, and it is tasty. Not spicy, but nice peanut sauce. Dinner I tried the Nitro burger. It was ok, but wouldn't order it or recommend it. Overcooked a bit for one, so the party was dry. Couldn't taste the chocolate stout marinade at all. Husband had a coconut seafood dish that he thought was really good. Waiter was great at giving recommendations."

After getting over the parking situation, we arrived inside and were greeted by a professional hostess; organized, efficient and seemed confident in managing the chaos of a busy restaurant. We were seated promptly after checking in and although it was busy, our waiter stopped to take our drink orders and "get the ball rolling". Our hostess indicated that all the beer menus were out on the floor and our waiter confirmed this and was able to quickly produce one as soon as it became available. The filet mignon was cooked to medium rare as requested, dessert was excellent, and we were greeted by the chef after our meal."

Food was excellent, as always, and was brought out to the table in reasonable time despite the heavy volume of customers.   • "We stopped here just on a whim on night. Our server Michelle had some great suggestions. The food was outstanding and atmosphere was wonderful. My wife and I were so delighted with this place we decided to make a second trip that week being it was Valentines Day. Getting out of handicap parking was a little tricky that night with valet parking but didn't diminish the enjoyment of our evening."

  • "Made a reservation and still got stuck in the middle of a very noisy room with kids all around. Ordered calamari with peppers for app. Calamari was fishy and there was one pepper in the middle of the plate like a garnish. Pork carnitas were fair, nothing worth talking about. "Pan seared" salmon with baby bok choy with saffron potatoes and wasabi peas was fishy and bland. No flavor whatsoever. I rarely complain and actually couldn't eat it. There was no way I was paying $24 for it. Server was very understanding and responsive. Brought me something else which was better but still not great. Very disappointed. May go back for the beer selection but we will order bar food."

The only issue was the time it took for the food to come out. It was a good 30 min between apps and entree."

We also opted in for the Dessert-Scape…which (for $20/adult at your table), you can get executive chef Eric Levine to come out to your table and he literally draws a picture with food (that you of course eat) and it includes a TON of food for the price…also considering you get to be with the chef for about 5-10 minutes depending on the size of your table. It was a blast! The food, service, and pricing is always awesome and this is our "go-to" spot for "Hey…let's go out to dinner" once or twice a month. Never disappointed!"

  • "Great beer list, some really interesting ideas on the menu, but when it came to actually delivering...not what we hoped for. We received the wrong appetizer and then our entrees were kind of bland. Duck tacos were just shredded duck meat crammed into some toasted flatbread with a not-so-great mayo-based sauce instead of the promised 'peking duck' tacos; short-rib in the evening's gnocchi special wasn't short rib. Desserts looked promising, but were essentially cool-whip and what appeared to be Entenmann's brownies. Go grab a great beer from their wide selection, stick with one of their burgers and you'll be fine. Venture into the entrees at your own risk."

The beer selection was excellent although they ran out of Baby Jesus (ask them). Although a bit drafty on a winters night it was a warm and wonderful dining experience."

  • "Huge beer selection. Very imaginative dishes. Great service. Server took the time to ask if we were new or former customers (heard other staff do the same), then she proceeded to give us a nice overview of the menu. The rest of the staff was very attentive. The chips and dip were delicious. Would have lived more. Chicken soup dumplings could have been served hotter, but they were very tasty nonetheless. Deconstructed chicken pot pie was good, though disappointed that they could not serve without the pearl onions. I know this is a minor issue, but I hate those little things. My daughter order a half-rack of ribs. The ribs were just ok, the fries great. Dessert (chocolate mousse with Oreos) was outstanding."

We loved the meat sticks and the crab bites were good. The burgers were small and we could not tell if fries were hand done. ketchup was not Heinz. Desserts were just fair - the apple was not warm and satifsying. The beer list is amazing were impressed by the professional listing."
