Our Happy Hour and bar specials are not to be missed.. Mon - Friday, 4pm-7pm, enjoy $4 select craft beers. Select wines by the glass are $6 and select martinis are $5! Also had the Italian ravioli's and the southwest burger - all enjoyed their meals (and drinks of sangria too!!) We had a great waiter/server like always! Our food came out very quickly and was hot and delicious. The Chef himself came to our table to ask how things tasted and if we were enjoying our dinner.   • "Went for a belated wedding anniversary dinner. We have seen the restaurant traveling between work and home, we were excited to try. Loved the "Open table" booking. The atmosphere was like a random food stopover point somewhere on a long road trip. Food was fair to good, but for the prices being charged we expected MUCH better. "Dry" sums up the food! The flatbread appetizer, the chicken roulade, the bread pudding all lacking moisture. The shrimp and crab meat bites were really nice. The mustard brisket sandwich was excessively over-sauced! The free chips over seasoned. The bread pudding was burnt on the bottom. We are still talking about our experience, but not as might be wished. We plan a "do-over" on the anniversary meal ....elsewhere!"

  • "After reading all these reviews - we thought we would give it a shot. Food - eh...service - not so great. Our food was definitely forgotten - in fact sat under a heat lamp for way too long. A medium hamburger - their special "baconeater" that could "never come back as anything but medium" (according to the waiter) - came back TWICE like a hockey puck. When I had the manager come over - she said she would speak to the kitchen and that was all we saw or heard from her. No apologies, no can we offer you anything else on the house. NOTHING. So in turn, I will NEVER give them my business again. It wasn't even crowded so there is no excuse for this type of service. EVER"

  • "We have eaten at the Morris Tap and Grill many times, and each time it gets better! Delicious fig and Gorgonzola flatbread. Tender fabulous calamari to start. Then me husband and I had barbecue ribs. They were fall off the bone good, tender and tasty! We really love the way the French fries are prepared too! The back dining room is a bit too noisy, so if you want more quiet, ask for the Tree Room when you make a reservation. You definitely need a reservation on Saturday night. All in all a great restaurant with a varied menu. There's something for everyone!"

  • "Went for our first visit last Friday eve. Restaurant busy as expected and we were seated right away. Our waiter Sebastian was very effective in showing us the elements of the menu. Good beer selection. Of particular note was the tuna tartare flatbread, the short rib sandwich, wings(yes the ghost pepper rub was the hottest wing I ever had!) and the calamari. All done very well. The only dish that did not please was the Grilled shrimp. The fried "croquette" was way too heavy and did not accompany the delicious shrimp too well. While the waiter was very good, he was a bit full of himself and pushed a bit too hard for us to fill out the comment card to say how great he was! We enjoyed it and will be back."

  • "My favorite thing about this restaurant is that there are half a dozen or more dishes that I've never seen anywhere else. And it's extremely rare that there are any ingredients on an "American" menu that I don't recognize; again, several! Ideal beer menu; varied but not overwhelming. Unique and delicious. Can be difficult to hold a conversation on a Saturday night because of the noise level."

  • "We've been to Morris Tap and Grill multiple times. The first time, honestly, we weren't impressed. For some reason, the beer list seemed uninspired and the food was so-so. Maybe it was us, or just an off night. I've been there 2x since (once to give it a fair second chance, and this time as a tie-breaker) and each has been very enjoyable. This time, Chef Eric Levine greeted us at the end of our meal and even provided his business card to we could contact him for any future concerns. As I've posted in other reviews, my fiancee's seafood allergies make dining out a challenge sometimes, and Chef Eric told us that a personal phone call will ensure she has adequate options (off-menu, if necessary) available for any of our future visits. "

The restaurant was crowded and noisy and the food was just OK, not what I heard it to be. I had the ribs -- I heard they were good -- but they weren't to my liking. The sauce was too tangy. Our waitress was good. Would I go back? Only if I were invited."

  • "Seating was prompt even though we were 10 minutes late for our reservation. Staff was superb and engaging. Nice menu. Great cocktail and beer menu. I would have given it 4 stars for food except for the fact that wings and salad were over sauced and over dressed. Some people like food drenched but my wife and I like to taste the food and prefer sauces/dressing to be an enhancement. Fish tacos were delicious. I am looking forward to trying the entire menu so we will definitely go back but will ask to bring sauces and dressing on the side."

The desserts were just enough, and we enjoyed the mini selections which allowed us to sample everything. The seating was comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive.   • "I have been to the Morris Tap and Grill several times and it does not disappoint. The chef, who makes a point to walk around the restaurant saying hello to guests and getting feedback, get some very unique flavors as he experiments with many types of beer. There is a huge selection of beer too. Of course any other liquor is there as well. Very casual, almost rustic, but well done. Food is outstanding for a casual dinner. It is not elegant."

  • "This is now our 5th time going to Morris Tap and Grill, each time we go we have to force our self to try something new since each dish we have had we want to keep going back to over and over again. The service is amazing with very courteous and knowledgeable staff. When asked for recommendations the faces of our waiter light up when describing their favorite parts of these exciting dishes. The desert cart is always a guilty pleasure no matter how good we want to be we always cave in to try one of the outstanding and decadent deserts."

  • "This was our first time at Morris tap and grill. We were very pleased with our experience. We felt welcome as soon as we entered the resturant. We were seated right away with no problem. Our waiter was giuseppe. He was more than helpful with everything we had questions about. He knew the menu very well. His recommendations were right on spot. I highly recommend that if you dine here to recommend him as your server. By far the best server around. Food selection was very good. Not too much but too little. Good variety to choose from. Highly recommended for the venturous eater. Will be going back in the near future."

  • "The noise level at 6:30 on a Sunday was way up there. I know it's family dining time but it was difficult to talk and be heard across the table. The menu had some interesting twists on standard fare but the salad dressings were much too acidic and burned a little and there was too much dressing overall. The burger was good, the fries fair. The stacked taco salad was greasy and the beans dry. Did not bother with dessert or coffee. Will not be going back."

I recommend reservations for the Tree Room if you don't have children since it has a better atmosphere than the family style room. Give it a try and do meet the chef, he is personable and gracious!"

  • "Been here multiple times, have had good and terrible experiences. This time food was good, server was great! Made a reservation, still waited about 15 minutes for a table. They had forced valet parking and the parking attendant left our window rolled down :( For the appetizer had the Thai peanut flatbread, and it is tasty. Not spicy, but nice peanut sauce. Dinner I tried the Nitro burger. It was ok, but wouldn't order it or recommend it. Overcooked a bit for one, so the party was dry. Couldn't taste the chocolate stout marinade at all. Husband had a coconut seafood dish that he thought was really good. Waiter was great at giving recommendations."
