The service was flawless, the food was beautiful and delicious, and the atmosphere was extremely enjoyable. They also honored a special request for a fish-only course selection. My dessert even had "congratulations" spelled out in chocolate, since I was still wearing my graduation gown due to our tight schedule. We started off with an assortment of perfectly made sushi. The Angry Chicken was to die for. The flavors combined with a little bit of heat created the need for another bite, and another, etc. Is cleaning the bones considered unlady-like? I hope no one was watching! Finger licking delicious. My spouse had the pork loin chop special. The meat was so tender it almost melted as you cut it. He did apologise to me for saying that this was the best food he had ever eaten. I have to agree. We recommend trying it on a week night because on weekends, a "trendy crowd" fills up the bar and the restaurant. On Mondays, Tuesdays, we've had excellent table, food and service. We're very happy that they take the time to read and honor special requests that we've input to Open Table. The view of the marina is lovely. There are plenty of outdoor tables and well worth the wait if necessary. The food is very good and very nicely presented and the wine list is fine.

The maki roll was delicious and the sashimi clean, cold and fresh. Everything was served in the most beautiful artistic manner and the service was outstanding. We didn't know when we would stop eating taking it one dish at a time but the staff never seemed the least bit hurried or impatient, they were very knowledgable and very gracious throughout our 2 hour stay. Pricing was surprisingly reasonable. The only part that didn't meet expectations was the sushi - it was nothing special and a bit overpriced compared to other places I have been of similar caliber.
We designed a multi-course dinner for our group of 4 so we could share a few dishes including appetizers, sushi, main course, & dessert. Unfortunately some of the dishes were not really designed for sharing, but we managed. Our server was gracious and happily answered our questions and made suggestions to help guide our selections.

The manager of the restaurant went above and beyond. She was friendly and understanding when I forgot my credit cards at home. The one card company I could get in touch with told her I had $100,000 worth of credit, but without my card they couldn't help me out. I showed her my driver's license and my business card, but she still had to make a leap of faith. I of course paid her and her restaurant within 20 minutes of leaving.
