The people who design restaurants should include noise dampening features, of which the most obvious is sound absorbing tiles in the ceiling. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and very capable. She checked back often to make sure we were happy. I had the soft shell which was meaty and delicious but the delicate flavor was a bit overpowered by the very hot fra diavolo sauce. If I were to have it again I would ask for the sauce on the side. My husband had scallops served with risotto which was easily 50% cheese and butter; very delicious and high calorie. Our appetizer of fried green tomatoes with remoulade sauce was perfectly done. The meal ended with apple crumble and perfectly made lattes. Everyone in our party of three was satisfied with what they ordered--especially my daughter, the ultimate critic. Since we had taken her there for her birthday, I was glad it was a good experience for everybody. We had the seafood risotto, linguine with lobster and shrimp and seafood salade nicoise. We didn't make a big deal about it being her birthday, but the manager noticed that she opened a present and brought her some special butter cookies in the shape of the restaurant's logo which was sweet.
