Location can't be beat if you are on IOP or Wild Dunes. Both the upper deck & the lower restaurant have well prepared, thoughtful menu items. The servers are always attentive. Only complaints..Our table did not have the water view we requested via Open Table. One side had nothing but a wall view. Hostess seemed unaware of our request. Not a big deal but if view is imp. don't rely on Open Table..call! Our reservations were very early in the evening and we did feel rushed towards the end of the meal with numerous people stopping to take plates (even when people were clearly not finished eating.) The view of the waterway was magnificent, and my 4 year old loved watching the boats come and go. We watched a storm come rolling in over the course of dinner, and loved watching how the marsh view changed. The service was spot on, full cups, and very attentive. The food was pretty good. I would recommend Morgan Creek to anyone, but as a total package experience. I've had better seafood at other places, though remember I gave it 4/5, so it's certainly not bad by any definition. The views from the restaurant are fabulous and the food is always good, but one of the main things I love is HAPPY HOUR! They offer 1/2 price appetizers during happy hour, and they are fabulous!! They are not your usual "bar food" but wonderful offering such as lettuce wraps with wasabi shrimp, grilled scallops on asparagus, duck confit on flat bread in addition to delicious fried oysters, fried shrimp, "beef bites" and even a wonderful "grilled cheese three ways"!! It is so much fun to order a bunch of appetizers to share with friends! The cocktails, beer and wine are also very good. The food was delicious prepared just the way we asked for and we loved it all so much we came back the next day for lunch and then the next day for breakfast! All the servers were the same as our first one!
We will recommend this to others and when we come back to vacation this will be our restaurant of choice,

The food was good as well as the service. The restaurant is located at a marina so the view is wonderful. The only downside is the noise level. Having dinner on a Saturday night, the place was full. I had the almond crusted flounder over creme rice which was very good. My husband had the Shrimp and founder platter which he enjoyed. We ate inside and had a view of the water that we enjoyed since it was a beautiful day. A glass of wine (Petite Sirah Periano) which was recommended by Olga was nice. Atmosphere was great and service of food very quick. The only thing I would have to say negative was our table for 2 was wobbley.
Enjoyed afterwards the entertainment outside by the lively bar area.
