Mooo...is amazing! It is great because it has a contemporary and trendy atmosphere yet remains very cozy! The lighting is that nice orangey glow that makes everyone look beautiful and helps the drinks slide down even more smoothly. The food was very flavorful and hot (temperature). I would recommend the very creamy polenta because it is infused with Truffle Oil and if you like Truffles...MMM! Steak was cooked perfectly and the lamb chops were much enjoyed at my table! I would start off with the Pimms drink if you are looking for something tart and refreshing but not too sweet. Really a nice surprise to find something so awesome on Beacon St.!

It is a very nice steak place and it is expensive. One in our party was vegetarian and we asked for special meal. We told them what she liked and they prepared it very well. The service was nice, not too fast, not too slow. Overall, a very nice place for special occasions.

The meal was amazing. My husband and I both had filet mignon which melted in our mouths. I love squash and was very excited to get the autumnal squash brulee, but i I thought it was good - not great. It didn't seem to have much flavor and it wasn't as sweet as I had hoped it would be. The frites were great. The service was very good.

The food was excellent, but given the price I deducted one star because I have had steak that was a bit better before, for about the same price. That said, the steak was still excellent, and the rest of the food puts this at one of the best dining experiences I have had. The wine list here is extensive, and excellent wines of all prices can be had, from below $60 to multi-thousand dollar bottles.

Our food was good but nothing special. We wouldn't return. My weiner schnitzel was just so-so. My husband enjoyed his steak but said for a steak house he prefers Grill 23. The salad with iceberg lettuce, blue cheese dressing and bacon was JUST like the one served at Franklin Cafe, but in our opinion some how better at the Franklin. Very expensive for a restaurant that is not that memorable. The service was excellent, however, and the wine and drinks we had were delicious.

I cannot say enough good things about Mooo. We walked in, and the ambiance was spot-on. I am a steak lover, and my 12oz tenderloin may have been the best steak I've ever had. The sides were fantastic (the whipped potatoes were particularly nice) and the desert was excellent. The service was unbelievable! We were in Boston for a few days, and it was far and away the best restaurant we went to. I cannot recommend Mooo enough!

Excellent food, top notch service, cool modern decor. Definitely pricey. Had seen reviews with complaints about service but it's hard to believe. They could not have been more attentive. One dessert was slightly delayed. They apologized twice and didn't charge. Had littlenecks and oysters for appetizers - both fresh and of the highest quality. For dinner group had 8 oz filet, Beef Wellington and Steak au Poivre. The latter two were exceptional - filet was fine but no different than what you would get at any good top steakhouse. Sides are extra if you get steak but they had a mixed potato/vegetable side we shared that was great. Desserts were outstanding. If you are ready to spend some big $$ on a special night would highly recommend

Mooo was everything we hoped and more! The restaurant is aptly named - they really know their meat! My filet mignon was perfect as was the bearnaise sauce and the accompanying asparagus spears and mashed potatoes. Overall a nice experience, great wine list but the food was just good, not great. The ideas were great but execution fell short. Ordered a medium NY Sirloin and it came medium rare. Very strange for a steakhouse to get that sort of thing wrong. Beef wellington idea was great but again taste was ok.. Bananas Foster was really good so was the service. Nice place, good experience but wouldn't rush back..

My favorite steakhouse on the East Coast. A very trendy atmosphere -- where else can you eat great steak and listen to electronic/ambient music -- combined with great food and good service. What especially impressed me was the kid-friendliness. While I'd only recommend it for mild-mannered children because I don't think the restaurant management would want the place packed with kids, the staff at Mooo were very accommodating to our two year-old who accompanied us to dinner. He was able to play while we wined and dined at a corner table without disturbing anyone. This is a restaurant I've been to for business as well as pleasure (family meal).
