We got there early, and the music was inapprpriately loud. Server seemed unsure about menu; other staffers seemed terse or disinterested. Food was good, though the mussels and chorizo app was oddly soupy. With so many good steakhouses in Boston, there are at least two better ones to go to.

Overall I had a wonderful experience at Mooo. The food was outstanding, we started with the tuna tartare and the meslun salad which had a cabernet vinagrette. The tartare was very flavorful and there was lots of tuna, unlike other tartares I have tried that are mostly seasonings and little tuna...for tuna lovers I strongly recommend. For the entree I had filet mignon with a side of mushrooms. The steak was cooked to perfection at the temperature that I requested. Good size portions. My boyfriend had the aged steak, it was so juicy, tender, and flavorful, with a side of onion rings...I have to say the best onion rings I have ever had, and the aioli that came with it was super yummy. Will definitely go back.

The 8 oz. Filet Mignon I had was impeccably cooked, presentation was outstanding, the Parmesan truffle fries and macaroni and cheese were out of this world! Everything came in a timely fashion, the service was great, and the food was well worth the price point. Recommendation to anyone seeking a top rated steakhouse for a special occasion.

Food was okay. We went for brunch but one in our party ordered off the dinner menu. We were never served bread and we waited a while for our meal especially since the one having a meal off the dinner menu ordered a 1st course. He said his steak was okay but not as good as Cap Grille. I would definitely not go back.

It's always fantastic at Mooo. This was my fifth time going but this time we took a birthday here. Service was outstanding, our server paired a perfect wine. My only concern was that a friend and I both ordered filet mignon, medium rare. Mine was cooked medium rare while hers was medium to well done. It was odd that it was so inconsistent. Other than that, lovely meal. The birthday boy told me if was the best steak he's ever had.
