The food was very good and very reasonably priced for a special event price fixed menu. The crab salad appetizer was particularly delicious and the presentation was impeccable. The service was excellent and what you would expect from a restaurant three times the price. The staff were very attentive to routine service but went above and beyond. The $20 prix-fixe was a great value--you get an appetizer and an entree. They have a varied drink list with some craft beers. We sprung a last-minute addition on them by bringing my 14-month old daughter and they had no problem accommodating her with a chair (probably helped that we ate early). We sat right by the sidewalk doors which were open and the atmosphere was lively without being too noisy and obnoxious. The deep fried squids was the best I have eaten anywhere. The pork chop was good but a bit big and dry. We were looking for a restaurant for a pre-theatre dinner.....tried this gem and were blown away....it rivals any great NYC restaurant ....we will be returning soon. Emily our server was fantastic!!! The dressing on the wedge salad appetizer was lick the plate good and the entrees were very well prepared. The cocktails were excellent and the bartender paid attention to my friend special request as she is very particular about how her favorite drink is prepared. Pricey, sure, but never have I experienced such wonderful service partnered with fantastic food. Our party partook of the 5-Course menu, a bargain, as you get to enjoy portions of whatever specials are available. From the app to the soup to the salad to the entrees, I cannot say enough good things about the food. We raved over it. Our waiter was kind, patient, friendly and knowledgeable, and everyone fell all over us making sure we had a wonderful evening. I'd return here in a heartbeat. Absolutely worth the expense. They never miss the mark! Food has been consistently outstanding and from what I understand they have a new chef who took the food to another level. Superb! Service is impeccable and the staff is very knowledgable on the menu. My social circle loves this place and we are continued regulars. I had the 5 course chef's tasting menu and it was superb. I also tried the wine pairing with the chef's tasting menu and they were all excellent wines. We will definitely be back!
