If it were a stand-alone establishment it could be fine dining, the food and service definitely qualify, it's in a strip mall and that holds it back from being a romantic or special occasions place, the prices are fine dining prices so be aware. Our steaks were cooked to order, the sides, healthy and delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Brought a large group of colleagues here the other night -- all of them expense-account jaded execs -- and there was uniform agreement that Monty's was a terrific meal and great experience overall. Donna and her brother (the owners), our server Ricardo, the whole team worked smoothly together to guarantee we'll all be back again soon. Monty's owners are always on site, attending to every guest need and ensuring you have a wonderful meal. Steak Salad was excellent. . . the steak on it was plentiful and much better than normal for a salad; consider ordering dressing on side. Steak salad big enough to split if not too hungry. Gorgeous desserts.
