A word from Montgomery Inn - Columbus
Situated high on a bluff overlooking fountains that mist in the night, our newest gem in Dublin is an architectural delight. Designed with colonial Williamsburg in mind, we blend the charm and beauty of the past with comfort and technology of the 21st century.

The sweet smell of barbecue floats in the air, crossing from Franklin into Delaware County. "This location offers the perfect balance of our customer base; nearly 60,000 people reside in the town of Dublin and another 100,000 work within a 3 mile radius of our location" says Evan Andrews of Montgomery Inn. "A sense of community is important to us. Dublin is nearly identical to our own village of Montgomery, home of the original Montgomery Inn".

For rib-lovers – succulent, juicy, baby-back pork ribs – there is no place on the planet that compares to the Montgomery Inn. The uncompromising quality of our ribs keeps folks coming back.

Diner Reviews
  • "Enjoyed the appetizer and the dinner. Waiter was very friendly. I would only suggest that our entree come after our appetizer a little later. We were eating our appetizer and within a few minutes our dinner arrived."

  • "Bypass making reservations in advance, you will still wait regardless. Restaurant was nice, waitress excellent, food good; expensive."

  • "We had a large group, for which I made a reservation. They gave us a private room, with one dedicated server, which was great! I was a little taken aback at the final bill for 2 of us, which included the gratuity already added in. I would not say this is a place to go on a casual night out but more for a special occasion. The food was very good though!"

  • "Montgomery Inn is a Cincinnati tradition that has expanded to Dublin--excellent barbecue sauce, saratoga chips, and ribs. Good for family dinners. A number of items are milk-free and gluten-free which is a plus for our family. Friendly service."

  • "Was disappointed with the price and the quality of food. I ordered the ribs and chicken combo and the chicken was not done had blood running out. My wife ordered ribs and grilled shrimp she said was good but not much for the price. We had a half a Greek salad that was wilted and only the size of a side salad for 6 dollars (really) so for 2 dinners a salad and 2 iced teas 75.00 not a good bargain."

  • "My girlfriend and I decieded to go out for our Saturday night meal. Since it was a Saturday night, I decided to go ahead and make reservations using the open table app for 6:15. We arrived at 6:13. I gave my last name at the front host stand and said I had reservations for 6:15. They went on to tell me that it would be another 20 min! I said "I don't understand". They went on to say that when you make reservations using open table, it is really only like call ahead seating and only means you will be ahead of anyone who walks in who doesn't have reservations. So I don't know the point of making reservations for a certain time if you are only going to be seated 20 min after your reserved time. Food and service were fine."

  • "The BBQ ribs and pulled pork along with the homemade chips were all fantastic"

  • "As always, btw was great, but way over priced. I would contend that City Barbeque's ribs are just as good for far less $$$!"

  • "I was expecting the BBQ to be good but instead we received horrible tasting and super dry meat. The waiter all though did his job, wasn't energetic and honestly cant remember him smiling once. The manager at this location was upbeat, friendly, and addressed our concerns in a professional manner. We were there celebrating a birthday and all though she liked her salad, there wasn't much else to enjoy about this celebration."

  • "The place was nice, food very good, but the manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome! If it wasn't for the price, we would dine here much more than on rare events."

  • "Very slow service on a night when the restaurant was not busy. I ordered Salmon and it was VERY dry! Also ordered at our table was a half slab of ribs which were over cooked. May not return."

  • "I heard of this place from everyone so I decided to give it a try, what a great choice. Food was very good, service was just as good. it does get busy on a saturday night so I would make reservations so your wait time is limited."
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "We had a great time, it was the first Friday of Lent so it was really quiet. Even though the wait staff wasn't busy, they were attentive and didn't hover, which is appreciated. And the food was so yummy! I can't wait for my next trip to Ohio so I can visit again!"

  • "I've been to this restaurant several times before and everytime the food has been delicious and the service has been good. The only downside is it's a little pricey to make it an every day dinner spot."

  • "We had a wide variety of food and all of it was prepared as requested, arrived quickly, and tasted excellent. The service, especially after receiving our food, was not up to past experience at the original Montgomery Inn. Since our waitress did not check on us, we had to request ketchup, was never asked about refills, and had to request our bill. Another waiter even took our dirty plates."

  • "A group of 6 had a great time for dinner on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Great service, great food and we all had a great time!"

  • "I wait for their all you can eat ribs which comes around 2 to 3 times a year. The food, service and surroundings are always top notch."

  • "Very expensive for the quality of the food. Our server got "lost" multiple times on us."
    Dined on 2/21/2014
  • "I went alone for dinner on a Monday night. So it wasn't very busy. The ribs were OK. But how do you keep ribs fresh all day so when you serve them, they taste like they just came out of the smoker? Hard to do. The duck was delicious. OK place, nothing spectacular. Hard to justify the prices."

  • "I chose the Montgomery Inn for our Valentine's date because I had heard so many positive reviews about the ribs. We both ordered the ribs with high expectations. The ribs themselves were very good. Moist and falling off the bone. The sauce however was very disappointing. It tasted like ketchup. We both love BBQ, and we have had many great BBQ sauces and a few not so good. The BBQ sauce on the ribs falls in to the 'not so good' category. If I return again, I will choose another item from the menu that does not include the BBQ sauce. Overall though, I would say the dining experience was good and I would not recommend not going based on this one experience over the sauce. Their menu has a great selection of items to choose from."

  • "Some of the best ribs and chicken, very large portions.Service was great didn`t have to wait very long to get food and we never had to ask gor refills on drinks. Definitely be back."

  • "Maybe it was an off night... the ribs didn't seem as fabulous as I've had in the past. So-so"
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "With a reservation, we still had a 15-20 minute wait. Had to stand in a crowded area and keep getting out of the way of waiters trying to work."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "Surprisingly not crowded. Maybe not romantic enough, but the food is good. Surprised it hasn't taken off as much as the flagship stores in Cincy."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "The food was ok, nothing spectacular for the price. We both got the ribs since they are supposed to be so amazing. They were gristly and the sauce was not very good. Tasted like bottled sauce. Our waitress was very awkward and while attentive always said something awkward every time she was at our table. I'm glad we went once to try it out, but we will not need to go back."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "Just glad they have opened a location close to our home in Columbus. We have always enjoyed eating at Montgomery Inn, in Cincinnati, either in Montgomery or on the Ohio River. Same fall off the bone ribs which ever one you decide to visit."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "This was a great call for dinner with my wife. The service was excellent as well as the food. We were seated right away and love looking out over the river and traffic."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "Made a reservation but turned out wasn't necessary for 7 p.m. on a Friday. Other than the full rack of ribs, the prices don't justify the quantity/quality of food. An order for my date of the combination of ribs and shrimp brought 4 ribs and about 5 small fried (mediocre, looked like from frozen) shrimp and a side of bland/dry mac n cheese for $26. Having dined at the original Montgomery Inn, was disappointed in service and overall quality (aside from ribs) at this location. Waitress was inattentive. - servers should be MUCH more attentive, when the food was delivered, she said she would bring extra napkins, didn't see her again until she tossed the bill on the table Destination for special occasions and stick with the ribs :)"

  • "I had ribs. My wife had ribs/duck. Both were delicious."

  • "We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was since none of my group of five had been there since it first opened. At that time, the food was less than stellar. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone and will certainly return."
    Dined on 1/24/2014
  • "I had been a few times since its opening a few years ago and thought food was OK. I decided to give it yet another try recently when someone suggested. Food and ribs in particular were much better than I had remembered. Entire group of 6 of us all enjoyed our meals."
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "Reservation means call ahead seating not reservation. This is misleading to the customer that needs a definite reservation time when choosing a reservation on open table. Love the food despite the reservation issues!! Classic Cincinnati style ribs!"
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "Despite placing a reservation with open table, we were informed if a wait if 1 1/2 hours. We declined that option and did not dine with Montgomery inn"
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "The place was super busy for NYE but the service was still quick and efficient. The bar staff were extremely busy but still managed to give that personal touch and make us feel important. A great experience."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "Went on New Year's Eve. Even though they took our reservation they did not honor our reservation. They said they only had preferred seating. It took an additional hour after our "reservation" to be seated. Extremely frustrating. A tip for Montgomery Inn get off Open Table or honor a reservation. Will not go back for dinner after being mislead around the seating policy."

  • "Every time I'm in Columbus I stop here to eat. I always look forward to going here. They have the best barbecue sauce and you get a lot of good food. The ribs are fantastic."

  • "This was the first time I have been to this location of Montgomery Inn. Loved everything. World Class Ribs!!"

  • "This was our first visit. The restaurant is very pretty with lots of places for large groups. Our group of 8 had a nice table. The food was decent but overpriced, but was Ok for a special family get together. The problem was service. Although our waiter was very nice and didn't make any mistakes he was very slow."
