Private party caused us to be upstairs which We didn't even know about. Good service , better food. Children, not kids any more, we're impressed. More so when we left through main dining room downstairs and they saw the ambience we had mentioned. I like the waiters and the owner is very friendly. The food is always tasty and I never feel over stuffed when I leave even when I have dessert. There certainly is enough variety on the menu. If I have dessert the one thing I love is the zabaione with strawberries. It has to be made on the spot. My son and I recently ate here and I had fried zucchini for an appetizer, chicken cacciatore and zabaione for dessert. My son had fried calamari, a tortellini in an alfredo sauce and ricotta cheese cake for dessert. The bread was fresh. I went with a friend. She ordered the mussels and thought they were excellent. Service was very nice. The chef/owner came to our table to ask how our meal was and stayed for a couple of minutes. I thought that was a great touch. Will definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to friends. I do think reservations are highly recommended.
