  • Love the patio seating

Not a fan of the dinner rolls but other than that the food is excellent. If the weather is cooperative I highly suggest dining on the patio. We appreciate the fact that they serve dinner until 10pm as it can be a challenge finding a decent local restaurant that serves that late.

I choose this place on a recommendation, since i was going with business clients. Folks in my group had a great time and enjoyed their meals and drinks. We had all had the special of the day and could not get enough, it was really prepared well. Appetizer was very nice as well. Noise level was just right for us to talk some business and also be relaxed.

Great food, great service, but hard plaster walls and ceiling reflect and echo sound. Positive feedback loop: have to talk louder to overcome the noise; so does everyone else. Highly recommend eating here, but find a slow time/day. To the owners: the plaster ceiling looks good, but an acoustic tile drop ceiling is worth the sacrifice. Add curtains, acoustic foam, or even egg cartons to the walls.

  • Good food, poor service

Food was good, wine selection was great, service was poor, we felt like we had to beg to get a drink, extremly loud, tables too close together, difficult to keep conversation at own table due to noise. Spicy meatball apps were awesome!

  • Great New Menu!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009

My husband and I, along with a group of friends, went out for his birthday. There is a new menu. We each tried a different dish to share. All were very good. We had the shrimp, carpaccio and squid/mussel calamari for appetizers. Very good start. The duck was nicely prepared. The steaks were well-cooked. All the desserts were good too especially the croissant pudding. It was a satisfying dining experience. We will definitely come back!

  • Provided they don't run out

Provided they don't run out of everything, this is a nice little spot. When we went, they ran out of two of the entrees and one of the desserts. All of which were the ones I wanted (just my luck I guess). Service was a bit slow for my taste. What food I did order was really nice though.

I was undecided between teh homemade raviolis and the meatloaf and had asked the waiter. I felt from his repsonse that he was not overly keen about either. Opted for the homemade roasted veggie raviolis. Intersting and good, but nothing I would go back for. The pasta was heavy/thick vs.light. However the veggies inside and sauce on top was very good. The garlic cheese toast served with it was out of this world! And the basil goat cheese served with the bread basket is wonderful!!!

Very nice restaurant in old downtown Fargo. Affordable. The panko-crusted pickerel was excellent. Rice should have a bit more of flavour.
