"This restaurant has been around for a long time and this was our first time back in many years. The food and service are as good as ever and the prices don't seem to have gone up too much. The food was hot and the portions quite generous (great wiener schnitzel!)and the service friendly and efficient. While the space could use a bit of "sprucing-up" it's still a classic French/Swiss/Austrian restaurant with someting for everyone and while we were eating a classic Broadway Diva and her entourage came in for dinner! We will definitely make this one of our pre or post theatre places to eat."

"Loved this place! Planned 19th Anniversary dinner here with advanced special requests for seating, drinks and meal. They accomodated everything beautifully, elegantly and without great fanfare. Very charming staff from the gentleman welcoming guests at the door to the woman at the coat check to the bus boy. Swiss seafood fondue was terrific. Wanted to go back for a drink after our show, but didn't have time."

"An excellent place for pre-theater dinner. Diverse and interesting menu, well prepared dishes, and very friendly service. Noise level was high, but not unpleasant. We would go again when going to a show."

"we have eaten at Mont Blanc many times. I am looking forward to warm weather. The enclosed patio in the back is so sweet and comfortable. I love it. Food as always is wonderful and plentiful. Fruit infused martinis are a treat. Love the mussels."

"The Prix Fixe menu is one of he best in the city: 4 courses (with items you actually want to order!) and coffee for $32 - an excellent value, too. Walkable located close to the theater district on 48th."

"What a lovely restaurant! The proprietors were just phenomenal, making us feel so warmly welcomed the second we walked in the door. Had requested a special table, which they graciously accommodated. Food was OUTSTANDING! The Swiss Cheese Fondue was mouth-watering, and the Veal Codon Bleu was simply delicious. Could not have asked for a better dining experience! Will definitely return."

"My recent trip to New York was with my daughters, ages 11 and 6. I chose Mont Blanc based on TripAdvisor reviews indicating that it would be OK for kids. My older daughter is an adventurous eater but the other one is extremely picky. Our experience at Mont Blanc was perfect from start to finish, suiting the needs of all. I was even greeted by name, having indicated in the reservation that the kids would be with me. The Wiener Schnitzel is the best I've had on this side of the Atlantic (lived in Germany...). My adventurous daughter chose the fixe prix menu, with spinach pasta and pesto as an entree. The kids' menu suited my youngest with chicken strips. The apple strudel is well worth the calories:) Our service was flawless - GO!"
