"Husband & I had our first date at Monsoons 10 yrs ago. We returned to Celebrate our 10 yr Anniversary. Service was well-timed and friendly, music was also great. Our disappointment came with the flavorless sushi and oily overcooked Garlic scallops and shrimp dish we ordered. I consider myself a foodie, so I am open to all flavors and rarely find a dish I don't enjoy. Maybe the chef was not having a great day or perhaps he was new, not sure..."

"Food was delicious, an Asian fusion style. Plenty of choices for everyone's palate and many gluten free options. I definitely recommend to try the specials, they are extraordinary. The service was amazing, everything arrived timely, our server was cordial, knowledgeable about the menu, and never hurried us. The decor is really cool, it's a great place to take a date or a small group of people for a special and memorable evening."

"Just a solid place to eat. Inside is surprisingly tasteful, especially with a booth. sushi, shortribs, specials, random items rarely dissapoint. It seems like a mainstream place on the promenade, the small bar and patio can appear that way. and it's not always on point with everything, alas LA dining. but for me, the restaurant does good work, every time. worth a visit or two."
