"Friendly attentive staff. The portions are larger than you'd expect, you'll be full by the time you finish the appetizers. The dimmed lights and candle lit tables made for a very romantic atmosphere. Our reserved table was ready as soon as we walked in the door, there was 0 wait time. They serve the best crab cakes you are ever likely to eat. Nailed it."

"Wonderful lunch menu and the presentation can't be beat. The eggplant is my favorite...crispy, yummy and just the right portion. Looks like the cover of Food and Wine. Casual, laid-back atmosphere and professional wait staff make this an all around good choice. Reservations are a must for this little secret pleasure. Chef-prepared desserts cap off a truly good meal."

"Lovely service and delicious food. They welcomed our two year old and our friends' infant (I called ahead to confirm it would be okay), but in truth I wouldn't characterize this as a "kid-friendly" restaurant-- mostly because I felt like my toddler might inconvenience the other diners. There were other dining rooms (and the outdoor area) that might have been better given our kid status."

"My wife and I love this place for different reasons; she loves the menu and drink list(she's a foodie and likes cocktails) while I love the portion sizes and prices (large and fairly priced). We go there for special occasions or just for "date night" when we can. It may not look like much at first glance, but the ambiance is quite comfortable and the wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Only "issue" from last visit was being seated next to table where it was difficult to hold a conversation (other times there was more room between tables), otherwise would have rated overall as outstanding."

"My husband and I spontaneously decided to go out on friday might.we checked open table; got a reservation quickly and easily, and off we went. The restaurant was busy and the nat was packed, but we didn't have to wait to be seated and the service was prompt a and cheerful.the good was very good.the jambalaya special was excellent, and chocolate strawberry cheesecake was the perfect finale. We had a great time."
