We were seated at a table in a section called "love d's lane", it was so quiet and private. We also had Christine for a server and she was by far the most excellent and attentive server we have experienced at any restaurant. We made the unfortunate mistake of trying the Melting Pot for one of our anniversaries, but they didn't hold a candle to the unique, romantic dining experience of the Mona Lisa. There isn't a bad choice to be made, so far be it for me to make any specific recommendations. I've heard people complain that fondue isn't filling - pish tosh! That said, we ordered the seafood main course for the first time this year, and I was surprised to see a single lobster tail for the two of us, especially for the premium price. The separate rooms in Mona Lisa ensure quiet intimate dining. Our server was wonderful she was bubbly and fun. She explained the options we had and thru out the dinner explained what she was doing and serving. The food was delicious and filling.
If we had favorites our server would bring extra. You are totally spoiled when you go here. We had a super server, Kate, who went out of her way to make our evening enjoyable. Food was plentiful, came out in a timely fashion. Fondue is high-maintenance but Kate explained everything very patiently so we understood the options and how it all worked. Great for groups for sharing. Food kind of basic but very fresh and adequate portions. Sort of old-school ambiance.
